Zebres Records is back with its second release, celebrating Plein Soleil's first solo release with a mini-album blending his percussion, ambient and dub aspirations. The French musician, also part of the psychedelic trio Société Etrange, experimental duo Pan! Pan! Pan! and Omertà explores its large, DIY instrumentation, working his percussions and rhythms towards a dub, fourth-world space, ruling out every cliché associated with the genre, instead generously filling this "U.V." release with mesmerizing agitation. The 12" will be out in August, distributed by Glasgow's Rubadud.
