I don't know if it's Soundclouds compression or the mix, but compared to the original it sounds muddy and lacks of heights. Specially when the mix gets fuller, the original version is much more cleaned up. Every sound is just clearer.

Randomly heard this wonderful track - "Stars" by Visti & Meyland - and it immediately reminded me of something.. took me a while to realize.. but it's Jeroen Tel's fantastic music for the C64 game "Hot Rod" - so I did a little mashup edit of the track - Note that the full "Stars" is about twice as long, and has an amazing intro, worth checking out :)
