22 billion streams is a milestone only a few artists can claim. Couple that with fashion collaborations, runway appearances, leading roles in Hollywood features, viral Architectural  Digest piece + a combined social audience of over 20 million people - this is Troye Sivan.
 
Hailed as “the perfect pop star” by TIME, Troye’s numerous awards include a Billboard Music Awards trophy, three MTV Europe Music awards and two ARIA Awards and GLAAD Media wins. Recently Troye featured in campaigns for Cartier, YSL Beauty, Calvin Klein and Beyonce’s Ivy Park. 2023 has seen Troye appearing in The Weeknd & Sam Levinson’s ‘The Idol’ for HBO, alongside Lily-Rose Depp, Blackpink’s Jennie and Abel himself.

With his debut album ‘Blue Neighbourhood’, sophomore album ‘Bloom’ and the 2020 mini-album ‘In A Dream’ as well as a slew of singles and collaborations in between, Troye has firmly established himself as a global icon in the worlds of pop music, fashion and LGBTQI+ representation

Violently Free is Christopher D. Hillsgrove, it began as a composition of poems that gradually morphed into songs (rough demos).  Within each song there are elements of the artist and bands that influenced me as a person and a musician.   Bands such as brand new, taking back sunday, hum, neutral milk hotel, vision of disorder, machinehead, at the drivin, social distortion, pixies, nirvana, slipknot, dropkick murphy's, flogging molly, joy division, iggy pop, modest mouse, the honorary title, deftones, manchester orchestra,  rancid, mars volta, blink 182, and violent femmes. As a song writer I try to convey complex social and life issues into a simple metaphor.  I always thought there is something to be said about a simple catchy song that people can take something from. 

I'm Sarah and I'm a student at Bathurst NSW AUS. I've recently started composing and was shown this site. I compose all of my own music and lyrics and would love any feedback that anyone can give me on my pieces as I'm trying to improve as quickly as possible and put my name out there.
