With their debut album due out next year, Novella share a glimpse at what's to come with their new Murmurs EP, released on cassette on Monday 14th October via Italian Beach Babes.

Featuring four new songs recorded in one day by Jack Cooper from Mazes and Mark Jasper at SoundSavers in Homerton, the tape showcases a collection of songs being worked on by the band ahead of recording their forthcoming album. Listen to '' here:

The radiant 'Blue Swallows' and slow, bass-heavy swell of 'Follow' might be familiar to fans, have been refined over the course of many live shows, and come paired with an unfinished jam called 'Phrases', as well as a slow-paced version of last year's Shangri-La's inspired single, 'Mary's Gun'. 

The band are going into the studio at the end of the year to record their new album, and their last show of the year will be the cassette tape launch party in a few weeks' time:

Blueprint Blue is Melissa Rigby and Huw Webb of S.C.U.M and Astral Pattern, alongside Elliot Hayward. Inspired by artists like CSNY, Crazy Horse, Manassas and The Band, the trio are set to release their debut 12" EP in the Spring via Italian Beach Babes.

Describing their sound as "influenced by Neil Young's 'Tonight's the Night' and The Band's 'Music from Big Pink' albums", the new EP will be recorded with Jerome Watson (The History Of Apple Pie) in London over two nights.

Seeds Of Doubt have been inhabiting mouldy practice rooms, strung out house parties and the kinda venues you wouldn't go on a first date for a while now. Branded No-fi, shit-pop and a bunch of other self-effacing terms its true theres a level of 'un-production' here rarely seen but behind that lies 5 songs with 5 perfect melodies, structures and references.

Already self-releasing a 12-song cassette of solo recordings by founding member Chris, these 5 tracks see an extra 3 members added as they hone their home recording skills, creating a more focused and concise sound.

Early recordings soundtracked a number of skate edits made by Nike SB and members of the band have recently soundtracked a series of films by London skate company Isle.

Having already shared a handful of demos earlier this year, it is with great excitement that Italian Beach Babes announce the release of Blueprint Blue's debut EP, Undertoad. 

The EP was recorded with the help of some of the band's friends at The Horrors’ studio in East London, and was engineered by Joshua Hayward (The Horrors) and Jerome Watson (The History Of Apple Pie), who also produced it. Undertoad will be released on 5th May.

The band say of the EP, "We wanted to capture what our shows are like so it was recorded completely live and we kept in all the mistakes, bum notes and snare buzz. The first three songs are about either being a parent or having parents. The last song is about having panic attacks. The title ‘Undertoad’ is a reference to John Irving’s novel ‘The world according to Garp’."

Theo Verney TV EP Casette. Released 15 April 2013

At 22 years old, Theo Verney is somewhat of a modern 'Renaissance Man'. His solo project's debut EP, aptly titled 'T.V E.P' was played, recorded and produced entirely by Theo at his home studio in Brighton.

A perfect mix of psychedelia, prog rock, grunge and garage rock, 'T.V E.P' provides six tracks of small but perfectly formed songs. On listening, you'd be hard pressed to tell that all this was the work of just one man. 
Live however, he has been taking to the stage with the help of a full band. Recreating his EP live in all it's distorted, wah drenched glory for your listening pleasure.
