Written, recorded and produced by Maximilian Wittwer in Hamburg 2020/21. Additional remix production by Lucas Croon. The original version of "Kaputt" is included on WINTER 2's debut album.

Lucas Croon is a member of Stabil Elite and resident DJ at the Düsseldorf post-Hacienda club Salon des Amateurs. 

WINTER 2 was founded by Maximilian Wittwer and Christoph Romahn in Hamburg in 2020.

Journey through a Body at Kunsthalle Düsseldorf.
The exhibition and the accompanying program are supplemented and documented by a bilingual reader, a deliberately open and diverse compendium with pockets for all sorts of materials about and from the artists, the protagonists of the accompanying program, other invited guests, and the curators of the project. The inserts are texts, essays, and other additional literature as well as visual materials such as photos, flyers, stickers, and posters. A single with A and B sides was produced specifically for the project: Automat feat. Genesis Breyer P-Orridge with “Mount Tamalpais” (2014) and Baal & Mortimer with “And the Sky Gave Up the Dead” (2021).

Everything had to be in its place, from the hairs on her forehead to the sheen of her shoes and the placement of the ornaments on her mantel piece. She wanted things to be just so. And so she expected the same from everybody around her, but they could never meet her high standards, she sometimes couldn't reach her own. From the outside you'd assume she had a handle on each and every element of her life, but deep down she was never happy, there was always something that could be improved. 

For his self-titled debut album under the moniker Dumbo Tracks, Cologne producer Jan Philipp Janzen (known elsewhere for his work as Von Spar, Die Sterne and Urlaub in Polen) explores the world of dub in its many forms. Linking up with a long list of collaborators, including the likes of DJ Koze, Portable, Die Nerven’s Julian Knoth and Peaking Lights’ Indra Dunis, the LP celebrates the idea of the studio and the possibilities of post-production, a core component in the creation of dub music, by honing in on each element and approaching each one them as a separate instrument.

Welcome to the world of Drone, a London-based label founded by producer, artist and Death In Vegas guiding light Richard Fearless. An outlet for dancefloor distortion and other musical explorations. Created in the Metal Box, Drone will release oscillations in many forms.

For this, the debut outing Richard Fearless lays the mandate in the form of Higher Electronic States - proto-techno, peaktime acid. Analogue electronics, hammer-horror strings underpinned with drums to blow apart any floor. This is music made for very dark, smoke filled rooms with absurd lazers.

Crème Organization & M>O>S Recordings mainstay D’Marc Cantu picks up remixes duties on the flip toning things down in tempo but certainly not tension.  Full stream of this coming soon.
