Parisian Versatile Records continues to release serie of dubs to Etienne Jaumet's - '8 Regards Obliques' LP which was launched exactly one year ago 1st November 2018.
After Dubs Vol. 1 where I:Cube and DJ Sotofett were the main protagonists, Versatile offering you Vol. 2 of this 7" serie with dub rework from Etienne Jaumet's himself and Belgian, Brussels hero, 50% of Front De Cadeaux - Maurizio Athome AKA DJ ATHOME, who took the original and turn it into slow paced analogue jam with a club vox which although distant is also soothing, like the spiraling disembodied spirit you can hear in the dark room. This track has Duke Ellington base although there is still a sense of menace deep down between the kick drums and the bass.
The dub is exactly the sort of track you want to hear on the radio before you go out,  as you climb into the centre of the dancefloor with your couple and will stay with you long after the last note plays out, much like the end credits on the soundtrack to a tense spy movie. So as we present our new release, we thought it was an interesting way to jump out of the blocks giving the listeners a chance to tune into track 2 from our new Ep 'RIDE'. 

After many releases on Malka Tuti, our spiritual birth place, we decided to try releasing ourselves for a little while to create a fluid movement from our minds to your speakers. 

This track, alongside another original and remixes from Manfredas and Gum (Jay Watson) & Ginoli mark a new chapter for us. We're happy to have you along for the journey.
