We are pleased to put another excellent name on our eclectic catalogue: Andrea Tempo.
The Italian producer and dj, member of the mighty label Slow Motion and resident of Mondo Phase, backs into the game with a very personal EP made up by 3 original cuts and a solid remix from the talented Belgian-Peruvian DC Salas.
This new work expresses clear sonic references to a diverse world: liquid sounds, fuzzy guitars, electronic arrangements, guys with ties and leather jackets.
"Cosmik Intro" is a hymn to psychedelic Kraut rock from beyond the Alps and leads to the roaring "Killing Joke" which is a modern tribute to the London band with the same name. "Vigorelli" is a sweet psychedelic dream that warms up for a banger re-interpretation of the opening track.

In the words of Eva Geist:
"The first track we would like to present you is “Sisterhood” by Donato Dozzy. This track was made specially to be played at Diapason, much before this compilation was even designed. Donato made it and said “now this is yours, girls!” And we called it Sisterhood, to celebrate ourselves and the spirit of our nights.

Donato came to play for us one night late July last Summer at Sameheads. The other special guest of the night was our friend Simon Heidemann. We gave the episode of Diapason the title “Summer of Love”. That night it was beautiful to see such a mixed crowd coming together on our dance floor. Many were visiting Sameheads for the first time. Despite the heat, I think we all felt the breeze when this master, who needs no introductions, softly spread his magic......."

Diapason is a Neukoelln based events series created by Ondula and Eva Geist, inspired by obscure music culture, experimental art and experiences of life in suburban communities of outsiders. With Petra Péterffy’s morphic graphics and animations, Diapason has become a much anticipated bi-monthly appointment for the Sameheads audience.

The recent lockdown forced Sameheads to cancel our latest two episodes. Shifting to this hidden virtuality, we want to keep the tradition alive and have reached out to some of our past guests and assembled a Diapason Compilation Tape Vol. 1 featuring new music from some of the artists who inspired us.
