Samo Records has something special for their next release. Mickey Dagger, who previously released a track on our Spiral compilation, sent us a whole EP jam-packed with incredible remixes.

For his cover of the ‘80s kitsch track "I Want To Be A Cowboy,” he adds his signature dark and slightly sarcastic spin.
On the remix side, we have Antoni Maiovvi, who did a big room mix, Thomas Von Party, who made a breaky one, Ortrotasce, who contributed an old-school industrial/EBM version, and label head Facets, who was convinced by Mickey to provide his own take.

All the proceeds will be going to ISKWEU Project an indigenous women's shelter in Canada.

Daniel Noda, Canadian DJ and Music Producer from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, has followed electronic music since 1993, a genre with which he quickly fell in love. He has played more than 36 different styles of electro in various countries around the world such as: Canada, the United States, Tokyo, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Colombia and Uruguay. Having been a DJ for 31 years and now he has started music Production in August 2024. Today he is based in Montevideo, Uruguay, South America. Deeper Tong is a producer and DJ crafting powerful indie dance and peak-time techno tracks with a cyberpunk atmosphere. His music blends synthetic sounds, deep grooves, and a dark yet captivating dancefloor energy. Deeper Tong merging club euphoria with a futuristic aesthetic. His releases are a fusion of hypnotic basslines, heavy beats, and melodies that transport listeners into a world of neon techno and dark indie dance.

This mini LP is an explicit message from Lustpoderosa's sonic continuum. These 7 tracks show the deep connection of Marlene Starks' work as a writer and an artist to her role as mother and DJ in times when there is an urgent need to dismantle the patriarchy in our society and rave culture. Marlene Stark is telling us much more than a great musical story with the symbolic title “Hyäne”. Marlene wants to direct our attention to a reviled creature while she refects on its literary and symbolic meanings. Although hyenas live in a matriarchal society, its transmutation can be perceived as the ongoing struggle of the non-male body in an androcentric world view. Marlene Starks reinterprets the fgure of the hyena in a very poetic, self-ironical and honest way, as shown in the tracks ‘Hungry As a Hunter’, 'Hyäne’ and ‘Language Of Old Woman’. It's a neo-ceremonial call to rethink established structures without missing out the turbulent landscape of today's politics. From early trip-hop to post-rave elements, Stark combines her sonic adventures with an impressively nonchalant and colloquial vocabulary. Her voice, as well as the voice of guest singer Stefanie Mader, achieves a remarkable vocal structure that goes beyond the mainstream. This is the contemporary body music for the next generation.

Based in Holland and obviously taking in the might of European dance influences that surround him, “A New Paradigm” spawns a new natural genome, between Italo disco, Belgium new beat and our own, homegrown synth jizz that we’ve championed from the start.
In short, rickety old drum boxes jostle with that favoured analogue machinery that powers all the big bombs from our infamous discotheque! Hammered to death off Pharaoh Brunson’s battered stix, the tracks here were snowballing on dancefloors so much before lockdown, the .wav was actually starting to see some binary wear and tear, so we chivvied along the pressing plants to get it on wax pronto; and despite much of our beloved industry suffering setbacks and turmoil at the moment, we’ve managed to beam it down to your decks just in the nick of time. Get in!
A wild obsession with big gated drums, jagged arps and darkly vocodered vox characterizes the EP; with moods veering from all-out, popper-huffing nihilism into star-gazing wonderlust with spontaneous combustions of nearby neutron stars thrown in for good measure.
Four tracks that epitomize our label’s musical agenda: rugged and rumbly, charged and electric. Kinetic and mad functional, nocturnal body music with a head full of nitrates and a coital throb down under. It should find perfect habitat at any late nite dance n drug den once
we’re allowed to get up close, sweaty and start reaching for the red lasers again...

«Rotation Mécanique» is a sub label of MSQ Records, which focused on a physical releases: cassettes, vinyl, audio discs.

While the first vinyl release is being pressed on the factory, we present you RMR002, which owned by the producer «Aheadacheaday». The album «Naivety» consists of 6 viscous psychedelic dance stories written by the artist and one remix on its main track «Naivety in Cerrocupo» done by the resident DJ and co-founder of the Dusseldorf - based club/ bar "Salon Des Amateurs" Tolouse Low Trax. Throughout the album, we are hearing a subtle connection between contemporary electronic music and psychedelic shamanism, permeated with the caustic sounds of analog synthesizers, live instruments, drum machines with some magical hypnosis added. The final track «Over The Wall» allows the listener to breathe some fresh air and finally free himself from the shackles of the audio ritual described above.

Alberto de Angeli aka Aheadacheaday - half of the experimental audiovisual duo ALAN. You can listen to his monthly Internet Public Radio set Sunday Headaches, a show focused on independent labels’ specials and guests (Sacha Mambo, Gil.Barte, Alex Egan, Charlotte Atomi) or spinning vinyls as a resident at Fred Records (Milan), with a glass nearby.

«Naivety» was released on a limited quantity audio cassette and has the double-page spread in a quality polygraphic. The ultraviolet dyeing on a white audio cassette is another essential attribute of RMR002.

The professional TAPE 1 mastering is the beneficial that allows to listen it on some easy household appliances, as well as on any HI-FI / HI-END equipment. And it’s different from the digital sales mastering. We always care about the excellent sound quality of all our releases. By purchasing the cassette, you will also get the download code for this album in digital.
