Milano based imprint Alzaya kickstarts the golden era of the 20s with Volantis & Nicodemo's Spaziotempo EP, which is four original tracks strong and additionally contains remix works from Andras and Bell Towers. The latter, known for his works on Public Possession and his homage respectively his pleasant anticipation I'm Moving To Berlin was released on CockTail d'Amore and the follow-up of it, Another Lonely Night In My House/ Berlin, on ip editions. However, it was his Rohan's, Bell Tower's real name, EP Want You (Need You) on Public Possession that put him on the radar of artists and lovers of the art. Equipped with remixes from Tornado Wallace, Deep Dean or Wolfram certainy helped Bell Towers to spread his intriguing groovy sound out there and gain the recognition it deserves. His latest strike now is a remix for Milano artists Volantis & Nicodemo and their track Spaziotempo, which he reworks in a continuous 80s/ Italo Disco take with its melodically heights and lows and foremost an irresistible flow that makes it hard to resist the track's cosmic almost hypnotic vibe taking over one's sanity of the mind to make one let go in the beat of the moment.

Bristolian Italo producer Emmet Read delivers his debut solo 4 track EP.

Emmet Read is the Italo solo project from Producer Oliver Read. A decade producing and DJing in Bristol, he is no stranger in the field.

Den Haan are the dynamic Glasgow duo of spacial electronical disco grooves. Matt (Crème de Menthe – Disko B) and Gardi seemed to have met in some Italian discotechque circa 1979 if their sound is anything to be believed. However, they are far from a retro pastiche. They ooze camp funk, glitter and glamour – you only need to see them perform live to see what we mean. One would expect to see Giorgio himself make a guest appearance on the stage.

De Gama has re-built super hot Argentine producer AlexNY’s track ‘Over’. Since making his bow on Street Edits six years ago, Javi Frias has delivered a string of fine rework EPs for the likes of Midnight Riot, Tropical Disco and, most frequently, his own Night Shift imprint. Here he returns with his first EP of 2021, a typically club-ready selection of re-edits. The fast-rising Spanish producer hits the ground running with a sweaty, subtly beefed-up take on an old Controllers classic (the house-style revision that is 'Universal Sound'), before delivering a more reverential - but no less rolling - revision of a lesser-known disco-funk cut 'On Fire'. Vintage synth fetishist and genuine circuit-bending whiz, Italo Brutalo is no typical dealer of hardware-squeezed juice. Tapping in the endless potentialities of his analogue army of retro machinery, the German producer has built a sound ID that defies conventions and takes pride in trespassing all the frontiers and limitations associated to the etiolated map of dance music styles.
From EBM-laced rhythms to jagged techno motifs, via off-pistes divagations into electro, disco, hip-hop and kosmische spaces, Italo Brutalo writes a story of genre-busting, all-embracing love for the primordial groove. Having first dabbled into production through the studio equipment of his father, young Fries quickly caught the virus of music-making and its idiosyncratic logic, using all the means within his reach to turn his ideas into actual pieces of sound. With over 25 years of fiddling, tweaking, bastardising bars of automated fire so people can have a blast on the dance floor, Italo Brutalo has gained a potent reputation amongst jockeys and producers, recently making it to the cover of Das Synthesizer Magazine.

Following up to a string of releases on a wide array of imprints including Mozzarella Records, Days of Being Wild, Compuphonic, RFR or Nang Records, Fries moved onto self-releasing his output through Bungalo Disco, the label he co-operates alongside his girlfriend. After the first three vinyl releases went sold-out within a couple of weeks, Italo Brutalo now returns with his anticipated debut long-player, "Heartware", which - as its title suggests, makes for a compelling ode to the machines that got him into the eerie world of sine waves and tape loops. Beautifully wrapped in a gatefold, and adorned with the exquisite artwork of his creative partner to go full-circle. What else?
