Ingrained Instincts is a unique project consisting of Tilemachos Vlachos, and Dafy Deliangelos, originally from Greece, residing in London. They met in 2001 and started to develop their sound wholly psychedelic and funky. In 2014 the Ingrained Instincts project was born. Their sound could be described as an amalgamation of many variations which don’t fit in one box but sound organic. For their production, they use not only digital hardware, but analog as well, and are building their own modular system. Ingrained Instincts released their debut album “Invent the Future” on Sangoma Records, and has various releases on TIP Records, Nano Records, Future Music Records, Goa Productions, Blacklite Records, and many other labels. Be prepared to be dancing away by their music! Uncontrollably! It’s infectious.

Sangoma Records is back with Greece descent London-based duo INGRAINED INSTINCTS. This 9th edition is a special two-in-one show: their set made exclusively for radiOzora also has its place in the ‘On the Way to Ozora 2016’ series, because they’re playing on the Ozorian Main Stage this August. They met in 2001, formed a project together, and started to develop a different sound, but one totally sympathetic to the scene, and yet wholly psychedelic, and funky!
After many years of experimentation, the Ingrained Instincts project was born. Their sound could be described as an amalgamation of many variations which don’t fit in one box – definitely different and organic sounding. For their production they use analogue as well as digital hardware, and are about to build their own modular system. Tilemachos also has a downtempo project called “Escape Velocity”, with releases on Spiral Trax, and Eardream Music amongst other labels. Ingrained Instincts so far released on Goa Productions, BMSS and are now signed with Sangoma Records.
This is one project you have to keep an ear out for, because before you know it you’ll be dancing away. Uncontrollably! It’s infectious.

Tilemachos Vlachos is a musician and producer with sound design and sound synthesis studies. He is also a member of the downtempo project Escape Velocity.

Dafy Deliangelos is a sound engineer and producer with music technology studies. Until recently he was involved in the Techno scene and has performed in several underground parties.

A frequent guest in Ingrained Instincts’ studio is Dimitris Theodoropoulos the other part of Escape Velocity
