Khashoggi was formed in London, by songwriters Jessica Craig and Michael Webster. Brilliantly channeling diverse underground pop influences with nuances of classic blues and jazz, they deliver an edgy and soulful modern sound with raw and rootsy instrumentation.

THE SWAGGER - an original Grit-rock band from Hornsey, North London UK. The band consists of two brothers Lee Stevens (Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Paul Stevens (Guitar/Keys/Backing Vocals).

Originally starting off as a duo playing in small London pubs/clubs in Camden Town as The Mad Hatters UK, The Swagger was born in March 2011.

Releasing 4 singles: Loaded Gun (2020), Chin Up Boy (2019), Heart 'N' Soul (2018) and Want It All (Demo 2018) all being well received.

Also having the privilege of working with producer/drummer Graham Bonnar (Swervedriver/Brian Jonestown Massacre) recording their debut EP at the famous Konk studios owned by The Kinks.

Which consists of four tracks She Gonna Blow My Mind, Stoned, Keep on Fighting & Ride all receiving rave reviews on the live circuit.

Touring the West Coast of America in Sept/Oct 2019 playing shows in Las Vegas, LA, Long Beach, San Diego & Oceanside California gaining new fans and positive acclaim lighting up the Vegas music scene while promoting their most successful single 'Chin Up Boy'.

The band have supported several bands over the years including Trampolene, Hurricane #1 plus many more.

Having the privilage of meeting John Power of (Cast/The La's) at their Brixton Jamm show back in 2014 which he replied 'Really enjoyed your set Lee' 

Also selling out London's 02 Academy Islington for their single launch and headlining The famous Cavern Club in Liverpool UK.

The Swagger are a band to watch, and one that lives up to their name.

Walken400 is a side project of the independent British DIY recording artist Johnno Casson (aka Snippet) and it has been an absolute joy to engage with so many new friends here on Soundcloud, thank you for your support.

Kindness, Jazz and a bit of Tidying Up is an album of tall tales and itchy beats, all wrapped in a cheeky, freaky & quite unique-y ball of love.

Walken400 sprung from an active imagination, from listening to tons of glorious jazz, early Bow Wow Wow, Talking Heads, French Pop Music and awkward synthy sounds from around the world, from too much cheap red wine, from taking a vow to always choose kindness wherever possible and from watching Christopher Walken do his wonderfully unique thing in film.

Sounds like a big chunky man (as I am) falling over in a synth superstore, trying to be inconspicuous whilst the drummer keeps time and the singer writes about it.

Johnno was recently described by the wonderfully supportive Tom Robinson as a pioneer of Wonky Pop and was an interview guest on Tom's show on BBC 6 Music back in the heady days of March 2020 (BC).

Johnno has also been described as a pioneer of the Trip-Hop scene of the early 1990's with his band Deep Joy and their association with labels like Mo' Wax and in working with James Lavelle, and legends of their own scenes - (the late great) Andrew Weatherall and Adrian Sherwood.

More recently Johnno has been working with Luke Barwell aka Bitmap and Tim Jones from Brynovsky, whilst running a special social club called The Warm and Toasty Club. This is Johnno's 10th album.

The idea of trying to write new songs whilst the world was gripped by Covid-19 was initially very far from my mind and for a good chunk of lockdown it stayed that way.
But music has always been there for me during times of good or times of bad in my life and it was inevitable that I would turn to making music music and writing songs as a way of making sense of things. So I sparked up the synth and tbh it was initially a barren time for me creatively, nothing was happening songwriting wise for weeks.

The blight of mental health issues were gripping me strong and shooting holes in my confidence and telling me that maybe I couldn't do it anymore, i was washed up and I couldn't produce anything of any worth.
So I just wanted to see if anything happened when I got on the computer every day, could I still write and create songs during these crazy times?

Would it still be a relaxing and joyous thing to do around all the worry and concern of just getting through this pandemic and the fight for social justice?Well a little while after that new songs starting to bubble to the surface and what you hear on this page are the results of my endeavours, hope you enjoy

These songs are about various Animal welfare related issues. The basic premise is that Animals are very very similar to ourselves, and therefore we should treat them a lot better than we do.
