Late Night Tales and Bonobo were pretty much made for each other, it just took them a while to both realise it. Stepping forward into the compiler's spotlight for the 33rd edition is Simon Green -- aka Bonobo -- a musician, producer and DJ perfectly suited to soundtrack an evening spent reclining to some parallel beats.

When Will I See You Again

So the Tate Collective London invited me to create a track in response to the work of one of the Turner Prize 2014 nominated artists, Ciara Phillips, at Tate Britain. 

Come through and check it out. It's pretty sick. (Until 4th January 2014).

Tate Collective London commissioned contemporary audio artists (acoustic musicians, rappers, spoken word artists and a DJ/Producer) to each produce an audio track response to one of the 2014 Turner Prize shortlisted artists and their artwork on display at Tate Britain.

Shakka responded to the repetitive, mulit-layed elements of Ciara Phillip’s work, producing audio to mirror the floor to ceiling brightly coloured rhythmical screen prints in the exhibition. Taking inspiration from the large OK! print Shakka’s track includes motivational, lyrical narrative too.

These are the lost audio capsules that wash up on a distant Island, that are found by female inhabitants Laila & Sisi.

Laila has history with this city. From her discovery, she expects company.

So begins the story of The Lost Boys.
