We continue our journey of uncovering gems. Next up on the mag is Lyo aka Lyonel De Vos. Mostly associated with the NUT Records shop, which he set up with good friend Tunello, he’s a record dealer appreciated by DJs big and small, near and far. Belgian blooded, global kid, based in Barcelona. Oh and did we mention his record collection?!

Taking influences from his past - in Belgium with "electronic disco, proto house and all sorts of weird hybrid stuff", the minimal scene in Barcelona and his continued digging journey up to this point - Lyo delivers his personal take. 

"I've always been more into moods rather than styles", and for this podcast, he's got us in a mood alright: Diving into the unknown with menacing retro synths, funky rhythms, groovy basslines, emotional melodies and tasteful vocals, he warms up the stratosphere with the deep and industrial, leading towards a dancefloor in ecstasy, closing in style with a dub mix of Belgian synth-pop disco track "Love Sweet Love".

En 2017, ya viviendo en Montevideo y frecuentando Phonotheque despertó su interés por pinchar y dos años después ya comenzaba a coleccionar música en formato vinilo.

A master of minimalist dance music, Koolt is a hero in Uruguay, especially amongst it's younger DJ's and with friends and supporters like Nicolas Lutz, international recognition is building fast.

With a deep connection to the music, Koolt's transitions are smooth as ice and often laced with unearthed treasure and un-heard, abstract material. For the sixth episode of our podcast season, let us introduce you to our close friends from 192. We can't really remember when or where we met the three young lads but it must have been while heavy partying, ages ago. 
The three fellas united under the 192 moniker when they all moved to Berlin to learn how to DJ at the Mulack school. They graduated super fast and received the congratulations from the jury presided by Mrs. Weihs thanks to secret signature moves and extended digging investigations. It's safe to say they worked pretty hard and most of the time overnight to fight their way towards online celebrity.
