I wrote this to represent what it feels like when a trans person shares their deadname. That kind of trust is so fucking needed by every one of us. It's a beautiful, wonderful thing to be exposed to - like riding light on a gospel of the best pillows you've ever had. I don't even twitch when I hear my deadname any more. And I rarely give it.
