Cosmic Drift

This episode of our mix series features Agata, a Polish DJ and producer based in Berlin, where she is carving a space for herself with her versatile sets and distinctive releases. Her sound is layered with driving rhythms, psy textures and captivating melodies, moving fluidly between intensity and introspection. Following the release of her debut EP Realign in 2023, her music has appeared on many acclaimed labels and compilations. She’s a regular in Berlin’s favorite clubs, making her mark on the city’s club culture.

This mix flows between the deeper, more melodic and dreamy side of her collection and the uplifting energy of rolling progressive psy.

Cordner (he/him) has spent the last 5 years in Berlin cultivating his fluid sound identity, forming a crossroads between otherworldly melodies, hypnotic immersion and timeless progressive sounds. 

While living in the Northern Hemisphere he made notable appearances at @crudeberlin, @nobordersmusic, @floorgasmofficial, @dissident-berlin, and @evolvelabel, he consistently delivers high energy and high impact on the dancefloor.

CRUDE MIX 248 - Anémi

Rising from the shadows comes a 90-minute blend of hang-tough beats for this latest in the Bassiani Podcast series. This one comes by way of Kaytseng, a Taiwanese transplant in the Netherlands who cut her teeth down under while playing Melbourne’s local circuit. Though the Amsterdam relocation’s only two years old, the move’s already budding a promising path for her sinister sound and bringing her into the European techno fold. Think merciless fast-trance, gritty and thrashing sounds that pack a punch with every beat, it’s a measure of brutal craftwork for footloose and die-hard raving, tough and highly physical. Her warpspeed tempos are racking up a following, and her Berghain debut as part of the CRUDE roster’s reared a long-term residency with the Berlin label to boot. Her sets are fun and quick on the draw and this latest one’s not afraid to show it. Kaytseng delivers an hour and a half of pulse-quickening rhythms that ramp up and roll to the hilt for Bassiani Podcast 262, rattling clicks and primeval bass, apocalypse ready techno that’s breathing fresh life into the global scene. The future of sound is fast approaching and this Taiwan selector’s both emergent defender and catalysing force.

Rooted in the Amsterdam underground, AYIM has infused techno with her own psychedelic twist. As a producer and co-founder of KØLT, her sound has grown from local raves to international stages. Yet the essence remains unchanged: inviting listeners to explore their inner worlds and share that energy in connection with others.

In this mix, AYIM dives into a deeper sonic direction with percussion-driven rhythms and atmospheric layers, blending tracks from admired artists, friends, and a few hidden unreleased tracks of her own.
