Annie & The Make Believe is an Australian/English artist known for her heartfelt and catchy songs that blend elements of folk, pop, and alt-country. After nearly a decade in the UK, Annie returned to the Australian music scene in 2024 with the single It Got Bad. Praised for its “emotional depth, powerful delivery, and compelling video, It Got Bad has resonated across multiple genres, striking a particular chord with the country music audience through its timeless themes” (Cage Riot).

Since then, Annie and her band have been gigging in Melbourne's vibrant live music scene, recently celebrating the release of the newest single On Repeat. Described as a track that "lingers long after the final note, it invites listeners to reflect on their own personal journeys of growth and self-acceptance” (Music Crowns).

Annie’s musical journey began in the UK, where she debuted her EP Let’s Get Together Again. The EP earned airplay on BBC Radio, including BBC Introducing London, 6Music, and BBC Radio 2, and led to performances at festivals Bridgnorth Music and Arts Festival, Camper Calling, Staxonbury and a Coffee House Sessions UK tour.
