LL Cool J once said, "Give me an hour plus a pen and a pad," to summarize his ability to write bars. It Was Written will feature 12 writers (emcees, poets, a person that can recite words to music, etc.) that will be given an hour to write 16 bars for a track they have never hear before. At the end of the hour, the participants will be grouped by 3's and called up to the stage to perform, to the track they were just given, the verse they just wrote. In an effort to keep the participants honest, the audience will be asked to submit suggestions for the topic of their verses.


While the writers are writing DJ Chocolate & DJ Jeff C will perform a set.  Dat2 will also perform LIVE!
