Joe Ford and Task Horizon’s “In Orbit” series has already set itself apart as one of the most ambitious collaborative projects on the 5 year strong Evolution Chamber imprint. Opening with the vocal-led “Where Is The Moon?” featuring The Velvet Effect, and followed by the raw intensity of “Sunfall” alongside Ekwols, each chapter has carved its own identity while building a cohesive narrative.

Now, the journey continues with the third installment: “Ultraviolet”, a track that places Joe Ford and Task Horizon firmly at the centre stage. Here, both artists step into the spotlight to showcase not just their technical precision, but the emotional depth and musical vision that define their place within Drum & Bass.

“Ultraviolet” is a track of gradual immersion. It begins with shimmering pads that set a celestial mood, drawing the listener into its expansive atmosphere. As the tension builds, the music unfolds into a melodic drop that feels like stepping delicately into orbit: weightless yet purposeful. Celebrating the sounds of Japan, Viper are proud to present the first ever' Land of the Rising Bass EP'.

Featuring 7 brand new tracks from a variety of Japan’s hottest talent and curated by Futurebound, 'Land of the Rising Bass EP' is packed full of the darkest, dirtiest side of Drum & Bass giving an enviable taste of the club scene in Japan.

Kicking things off, YASUKI & mimiiQ team up for “Chase The Light”, a futuristic record with a funky and pulsing beat that is sure to blow heads clean off.

Next up, DJYOUTH brings a slightly lighter sound to the mix with infectious vocal chops amidst a vibrant soundscape before dropping into pure jump-up infused carnage – “Without You” is as catchy as it is bass face worthy.

Keeping the energy high, Mountain’s “Warn You” is equal parts ominous and enchanting, with a sinister build-up leading to an even more sinister drop. A dancefloor destroyer in every sense, the bar is set incredibly high.

DJ AKi teams up with Yellock on the massive “Destruction & Rebirth”, with mesmerizing vocals drawing the listener in before exploding into a fast-paced, hi-octane drop that will decimate any dancefloor.

Maozon’s “Escape” follows, another dancefloor destroyer made to be played at full blast on the best underground sound systems the world over. The euphoria of classic dancefloor DnB meets a much darker side for another seriously heavyweight tune.

Azumai’s “Guilty Of Murder” then presents a haunting opening, slowly building up in suspense and atmosphere before delivering a sinister sci-fi-esque drop that chills to the core.

Closing out the EP, Seventhrun’s aptly named “Bouncy” delivers blazing, bold energy – a final taste of Japan’s formidable club scene and the perfect end to this hard-hitting release.

With 7 tracks all delivering absolute carnage, 'Land of the Rising Bass EP' is certainly not for the faint of heart. Viper are proud to represent the sounds of our DnB brothers and sisters in Japan and to celebrate the talent of the Viper family the world over!

You ever hear jungle breaks echoing through an empty parking garage at 3 a.m.? That’s what this is for. Mean Streets is built for late-night runs and lost causes. It's a drum and bass tribute to the golden age of the PlayStation, back when everything felt faster, dirtier, realer. Back when we were still counting polygons kid. 

Think Wipeout 2097, Ridge Racer, Need for Speed. This is the sound of busted-up jungle drum and bass straight from a memory card left in the rain.

Yeah, there's liquid DnB in here, even some future garage, the kind that creeps in when the streets are empty and the rain won’t stop and you can't get those damned memories outta your head. But don’t get it twisted kid, the heart of this record is that early-2000s jungle mayhem. The stuff that came out of blown speakers and off bootleg discs. That sound that made you drive too fast and care too little.

So here’s your induction, rookie. The Mean Streets don’t care who you are. But if you’re gonna race out here, you better have the right soundtrack. And now, you do.
