Kataphasis releases Elements on Street Ritual. Composed organically, stylistically, and intentionally, he brings forward psychedelic flavors through deep ambience, melodic grooves, intricate textures, and lush experimentation. Meditative and ancient feels provides the listener into an elevating journey as his sound design fuses ancient Greek resonance and furthers an intriguing balance. Experience rejuvenation at its fullest as each soundscape opens up elemental clarity, possibility, and creativity in a mind bending fashion through enigmatic frequencies. 

Kataphasis is an ancient Greek word that means "affirmation." Holding the belief that music is actually a language, the Kataphasis project seeks to spread feelings of affirmation by achieving a level of musical familiarity balanced with a level of sonic experimentation. Kataphasis holds his roots in psychedelic chillout but draws from a wide array of musical genres as inspiration. Kataphasis enjoys gaining perspectives from all walks of life, folding origami, and spending time with his girlfriend and cat.

Here's my collab with @nicolas-haquin released on Spiral Roots VA.

"Spiral roots is a connection between organic sounds and mystical vibes. Roots connecting us with our home - Earth, spirals with higher dimensions, trough artists using elements of ancient music for channeling the songs that transcends time and fuses with highly intelligent electronic music production. It’s telling us a story that brings us closer to the reality of our ancestors and plant intelligence, as well as divine spark in all of creation. These squishy organic masterpieces put their listeners into a trance state of mind by combining the very best of ancient and contemporary. Amazing soundscapes of faraway lands, jungles and animals mixed with groovy beats, intelligent glitchy FX and lots of melodies that form bridge between “then” and “now”.
