A traditional qawwali song in praise of the king of sufi's, Hazrat Ali Maula. This short live track is a sneak peek into our newest up-coming Fanna-Fi-Allah qawwali party cd, which features the Pakistani tabla legend: Ustad Dildar Hussain Khan. Dildar Khan was Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's tabla player for his outstanding performing career of 28 years. 
A well deserved thank you goes to Aminah Chishty who brought her ustad, Dildar Sahib to the USA where this song was recorded.

Time is a trip. I have always been fascinated by the concept of the future being right now. Living in 2013 is absolutely bonkers. It's all happening NOW and yet soon enough, it will all have faded way. Like dying starlight, you are basking in the future's past. You don't know what's coming. Enjoy it. Hug your people. Smile. You are in and you are out in this world. With a quickness.

I distinctly remember writing this song on a bitter van ride home from Chicago years ago. I also remember playing it first with my brother Skribe in the backyard of his home near the ROC airport and seeing the planes fly by. (James)
