im mizkreant aka aaron swain im 20 years old and started producing in 2009 on a coppy of fruity loops 7 i first started on a drum and bass sound as i was mixing drum and bass at the time and would dabble with hip hop every now and then not to often tho as it is highly adictive and i did not want to becom a junkie!!
i first heard dubstep at collage sean catchpole aka vermin produtions Vermin Dubstep introduced me. At first i couldent stand it i fort it was far to slow compeared to the 170 bpm drum and bass i was use to.
Unfortunatly drum and bass became formulised and mainstram and it was no longer forfilling my needs for big bass and stankin riddams and i found myself wanting the heavyer lower bass that dubstep had to offer.
so at that point i decided to go to my local record shop reform records in exeter http://www.reform-records.co.uk/shop/ were i purchased my first lot of dubstep records DONE!! been hoocked ever since!!! iv had realeaes with ne records http://www.nerecords.com/ and been intervued on russian radio!!still pushing an looking for direction !!!

Johnny Barr is a Paisley based singer/songwriter who is currently studying Popular Music at Leeds College of Music, specialising in songwriting. Frequently gigging with his own 6-piece band, Johnny’s unique combination of percussive guitar technique and intricate finger picking makes him an exciting act to watch, especially when this is paired with his effortlessly exhilarating stage presence.

2011 was a superb year for Johnny. He was featured on Radio 1’s BBC Scotland Introducing with DJ Ally Mcrae, and supported a number of upcoming acts such as The Staves, Admiral Fallow, Sucioperro, Aerials up, Alan Mckim and Lynnie Carson. 2011 also saw Johnny headline Glasgow’s King Tuts for the first time, where he also played last January as part of the venue’s New Year’s Revolution festival. Johnny aims to keep up momentum already generated this year through numerous well-received shows with the release of his debut album this summer. Watch this space!
