PAYBACK is about a toxic relationship I was in which deteriorated to the point where we were just unable to communicate, I would say one thing and she would hear another thing. Everything I said was turned against me, and I deserved to be "punished" for what I said or did, hence the title "Payback". 

It’s a strange situation when it seems you’re both wanting to make things work but at the same time you just can't / don’t want to make the efforts to make it happen. In the end we all carry some scars with us, myself included, and it is hard to do the work required to change ourselves.

“Our name refers to the sound experience – our music aims to crush you with a wave of emotion” says Dean, vocalist and guitarist of TIDALWAVE. Since relocating to Germany from the United States last year, the band spent the year playing some of the best rock venues and festivals in Germany, sharing the stage with international touring bands such as California's Black Map and Roadrunner Records' Wild Throne, earning them a reputation for electrifying live shows.

Not bad for a band that only kickstarted their career last year with a promising debut, having been played on the radio in over 200 countries and growing.
