I got this conflict on my soul like “do I need it?”
The bridge that broke on me before ain’t breaking even 
And now these texts all on my phone like “why’d you leave us?”
I had to help myself do better for a reason
I left that deal up on the table got me thinking
Would I regret it is it something that I’m needing
I did this shit all on my own and still ain’t sink yet 
But still this shit be moving fast and I ain’t blink yet
Hopped inside the whip and I be swerving like I’m drinking
But really I ain’t focused I been stuck on overthinking
Some days man I feel like I be living for no reason
It feels like I’m floating in my mind I’m barely breathing 
But imma keep on holding on
Like nothings going on 
I know a lot relying on me just to roll along
I miss the days I had before I went and wrote this song
But I done way too much to fuck around and fold it all
Back then I would do this in my down time 
But now it’s therapy could never live without, I
Feel like I’m stranded and stuck up in a hole
On the road always question if I really chose the route right 
Man imma stay the course, ride the waves and take the fall  
And if it all goes south then I’m north above it all
Cuz I’ve been tested, broken, i still stand strong
And I know that shit regardless imma make it real far


But this weight upon shoulders feel like 7 plates large
And they pulling at my ankles saying please hold on
Had to leave the situation just to breathe cause my heart
Couldn’t take no more
Feeling like I’d fall apart
And it’s hard to see the faces of my father and my mom
When I’m lying to them everytime they asking what’s wrong
I’on like to be the reason that they think real hard
Cause they got it hard enough so I could never add more 
Look into the mirror ‘fore I leave for a long day
Recognize the fact it’s getting hard for me to part ways 
Life ain’t nothing sweet
I just wanna keep the peace
Take my family to a show the day I’m playing in the Barclays
Making choices on the regular, some be harder than others 
Stepping out of situations that show me I’m still above it
When I think I ain’t progressing I look back and  discover 
All the bullshit that i had to take is something i been growing from
