The "Sun Chapter One" Lp, designates in an anachronism my first chapter. 
This insofar as it allows, through the retrospective, to give form to my current artistic creation. 

It stands as a preface, but already carries the importance of the whole narrative of my musical development.

The six tracks are an expression of my experiences of the past four years; they are united by the reflection of the atmospheres located in them in my personal translation to music.

The Lp is marked by my personal confrontation with melancholy and its power; a state which in the process of its recognition experiences lightness and at the same time force.

Moving through the mountains, the car illuminated the dark road ahead, guiding them as they careered around corners and darted amidst the mist.

It was cold outside, they had been in transit for some time - nestled in their cabin whilst the glimmering white of the snow capped hills was reflected in the glow of the headlights.

The nights were long here in the thick of winter, he imagined it might all look very different in the summer when the snow had melted and the green had returned.

For now he was happy being lost in the murky white abyss beyond the windows.

Donato Dozzy remains one of the most intriguing and thought provoking producers and DJ's out there - making him a perfect candidate for a remix of Bas Dobbelar & Vand. This one delivers in mood and tonality as you might expect - deep moving dance music underpinned by intelligent sound design and a key understanding of ambience and texture.

Premiere: Dan Piu - Days Gone (Rai Scott Remix)

In his latest EP, "Blossom of the Super Nonpareille," Alex Tomb presents a trippy sonic journey, highlighted by our premiere for today, "Spooka Coast." 
At the core of "Spooka Coast" lies a compelling bass sequence that acts as the driving force, maintaining a steady pulse throughout the entirety of the track. Its hypnotic allure keeps the listener engaged, effortlessly guiding them through the diverse soundscape crafted by Tomb.
One of the most alluring aspects of "Spooka Coast" is the ebb and flow of percussive details that embellish the track. Tomb incorporates intricate rhythmic elements, injecting moments of suspense and anticipation into the track. The percussive layers interact harmoniously with the bass sequence, creating a dynamic and ever-evolving sonic landscape.

Levon Vincent is on production for this reversioning 12” of Skudge’s 2010 techno-house Convolution. Is there another producer working today that's a more exciting prospect to hear reimagining this classic cut.

The resulting two sides of vinyl give that late 00s Levon feel of rhythm and pace, meeting Skudge’s hallmark sound.

It’s been over a decade since Skudge took charge and urged us to "give it on up". Convolution' forged two distinct genres while avoiding the trap of losing the attitude of both. The track was a strong take on Techno and House simultaneously and brought something new and interesting to the table.

Fast forward a decade since this effort marked the beginning of the Skudge journey, which not only caught the middle ground between Techno and House but also the ears of fellow producer Levon Vincent. Levon is the master of oceanic underwater funk, drawing in strands of dub, techno, and house.

Levon delivers two distinct versions. Side A, Scream Version recalls something like A.J. Sounds’ minimal techno classic from 1995; Basemental. Flipping over to the B-side, one can hear the Convolution atmosphere echoing between Levon and Skudge respectively.
