For their first installment, the Chateau Chépère crew brings a diverse EP by ambient house maestra Rai Scott.
Opening the EP is Logical Positivism, a deep, driving and cinematic nod to the forest dance floors of the late 90’s. On Track 4 Inspired, Rai brings the club in an introspective, melancholic mood with a slower, steady beat, rolling percussions while dreamy pads shroud the dancers. Picking up the pace is Open Your Eyes, a warm, bittersweet piece of house from from her own alter ego Serendipity. The club friendly 2021 rework shifts into an early morning vibe, while keeping it deep and moody. Closing out the EP is the title track Anahata Nada, a gorgeous, warm piece of ambient for the chill rooms.

“Pleasure Pool are Finn O’Hare (synths, production), Andrew Robertson (vocals) and a rolling cast of Glasgow-based musicians, performers and artists. They sound like nothing else to have come out of Glasgow recently, exploring the territory between live performance and club culture through their collaborative ethos and party-starting attitude. Their debut EP, Night Scars, arrived in early March 2020 and now comes Love Without Illusion, Pleasure Pool's debut album, released on Optimo Music.
 
Largely written during the pandemic, Love Without Illusion adds layers of complexity and introspection to Night Scars' squarely dance floor-focused brew, though the record still oozes danceable energy. Open Hours is like opening a door and finding a party already in full swing, an assortment of recurring Pleasure Pool motifs – echoing, dubbed-out vocals, gorgeous, impossibly airy synth melodies, louche percussion, cowbells, rising and falling flecks of trumpet – all introduced in short order. Lick The Bag, which prominently features vocalists Chloe Charlton and Raissa Pardini, has a controlled chaos befitting its morning-after-the-night-before name. 
 
The rest of the album rides this glimmering, night-magic mood at varying frequencies, with the title track a gentle storm of grandiose walls of synth and pulsing vocal fragments. The slow and low flickering funk of album closer Zero Hours pulls all that has come before it together to end things in the woozy bliss of a walk back home in warm, gentle sunlight.

David, one of the co-founders of the renowned UK-based record label Simpler Times, presents a beautiful musical journey with his latest track, "Full Circle," featured on his upcoming EP, aptly titled 'Moments.' 
You will find yourself instantly mesmerized by the atmospheric tones that dominate 'Full Circle.' David's meticulous production techniques breathe life into the track, conjuring a gorgeous sonic landscape that envelops the senses. The ethereal pads serve as a celestial backdrop, evoking a sense of otherworldly beauty and creating a transcendent atmosphere. Complementing this ethereal foundation are the Traumprinz-esque vocal samples, which add a touch of enigmatic charm, further enhancing the track's emotive qualities.

David skillfully crafts a rhythmic foundation that takes hold of the listener, beckoning them to move to its seductive beat. 'Moments.' EP will be a vinyl-only release with no plans for repressing. This limited edition release further enhances the anticipation surrounding the EP's launch on June 16.

Wir haben ein schönes Vinyl zusammengestellt mit vier Tracks von Priori, Janthe, AGY3NA und Salamanda. Das bunte Cover wurde von unserem Hausfotografen Christian Rothe und dem Grafiker Christoph Vieweg entworfen und macht sich ganz hervorragend in jedem Plattenregal. Das Vinyl könnt ihr beim NACHTI an unserem Merch Stand kaufen und anschließend in unserem Webshop erwerben.

Die A-Seite überzeugt mit sanftem Prog Variationen. Janthe, ihres Zeichen Newcomerin aus Leipzig, fügt rollende Basslines und dubbige Chords zu ihrem Track „Radiant Visions“ zusammen. Ein Titel, der für den Dancefloor konzipiert wurde. Der erfahrene Produzent Priori erhöht das Tempo und erzeugt mit „A Circle“ eine schwebende Stimmung. Die B-Seite beginnt mit „Fruit Basket“, einem Leftfield Track des Duos Salamanda, der garantiert seinen Platz auf der NACHTI Ambient Stage finden wird. Die B2 „Hazel Witch“ zieht im Tempo deutlich an und ist eine Dekonstruktion von House, und außerdem das erste Release von AGY3NA.

'Luge Lessons' is a hypnotic piece that keeps the groove going from start to finish. With this slightly faster track compared to the other four, Aspetuck's quality in deeper electronic music really pushes the track here and gets you floating.

Loved the whole vibe of DJ Metatron's recent "This Is Not" mix which was voted Resident Advisor's No.1 Mix of 2015, so decided to produce a track using various samples from the mix.

Chopped loads of little samples and and cut and paste it all together to create a dreamy techno track featuring the old school breaks from Traumprinz's remix of Efdemin's Parallaxis.
