Thomas Brinkmann releases the first of a series of releases on Third Ear. The quality and originality of these tracks reminds of just how good a producer Thomas Brinkmann is. Techno it is, but nobody sounds like this. This, the first release is the Guy Martin ep, inspired by the British motorcycle racer and raconteur, Guy Martin. Brinkmann is himself a keen motorcycle rider and racer.

There's something that makes the deep lo-fi house so pleasant to listen to. Whether it's long, lush pads, pounding drums paired with rolling basslines, or sampled melancholy vocals, the lo-fi deep house always carries a specific emotion that works magic on the dance floor. In the past two decades, the German house music scene had a significant impact on the genre itself, specifically several labels coming from Leipzig, like KANN and Uncanny Valley, to name a few. 
Today's premiere has a Leipzig stamp all over it. 'Lagrange' is a part of a five-track EP, 'Droptop Rain Drive' by Marvin Boettcher, scheduled for release on April 22 via Leipzig-based 04177 Records. 'Lagrange' uses all the aforementioned ingredients for a bouncy lo-fi house journey which, with its vocal samples, is perfectly reminiscent of a magnificent map.ache's work. 
'Lagrange' and the rest of the 'Droptop Rain Drive' EP will be a great addition to any DJ sets on rooftops or backyards.

PREMIERE: Marvin Boettcher - Lagrange [04177 Records]

Peter Kersten, and his main production and DJing alias, Lawrence, have become very heavily associated with the deep, aquatic house since the turn of the millennium.
But less widely known than his house and ambient work as Lawrence and as a co-founder of legendary German label Dial, is his production work as Sten. Having not been released as Sten since 2008, Kersten makes a powerful comeback with “Earthshine” - a 12-track LP on Sushitech.

Most of the album is dance-floor oriented, with some more laid-back bits. One of the tracks that will surely make many club appearances over the next few months is 'Freewalk', a piece revolving around its trance-influenced stabs.  It features Lawrence’s signature percussive work and punchy kicks, and we are honored to premiere it today.

Take a listen and try to resist the urge to nod your head along or fidget with your feet. Sten is back. Nature is healing.

Portuguese label Kokölò returns with Rave Child's 'The Calling' EP, backed by a remix by .VRIL.

In 2022 the label made an immediate impact with its debut release — from anonymous artist and founder Rave Child — gaining support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, DJ Sasha and Patrice Baumel. 

Then label event programmer Alfonsvs made his first outing on the imprint with "Bad Habits EP," supported by a stellar remix from Berghain resident Answer Code Request. 

It gained attention from Inverted Audio, MNMT and Delayed, just to name a few, and cast a spell on dancefloors across Europe.

Efdemin has been one of the key artists on Curle since his 2007 debut for the Belgian label, with big releases such as ‘Acid Bells’, ‘America/The Pulse’, remixes from Martyn, John Beltran &amp; Matt O’Brien, and of course the mix-cd ‘Carry On, Pretend We’re Not In The Room’. The long-awaited follow-up ‘Please’ includes two tracks from around the 10 minute mark; ‘Farnsworth House’ and ‘Blount’. That last one Efdemin made together with his good friend and fellow Dial artist Kassian Troyer. Enough with the talking, time to get into the music!
