Italian dj/producer and label owner,  Ràkale takes us back in time with his new track  'Adjusting Code' out on February 14, 2019  through his self titled label “RÀKALE” .

Rakale experiments crossing funk, broken beat and techno to deliver this 80’s inspire track that is sure to set any dance floor on fire. A variety of pop synths carry this whole track giving it the life and energy it needs to give you goosebumps as you listen. 

Early support from heavy hitter such as Ame, Eagles & Butterflies, and Fabrizio Mammarella.

Safe to say that this will be roaming track will be making appearances on many dance floors around the world in 2019.

Frankey & Sandrino have been staples on labels like Innervisions, Mule Musiq and Drumpoet Community since their partnership first yielded fresh fruits back in 2010.  Delicate electronics bubble, and icy melodies float over ‘Mira’s spacey aura, bringing together elements of 90s IDM and minimal techno in a refreshing way.  On ‘Naos’, a chugging groove and Italo inspired bassline unfolds to expose a transcendental lead line and a cosmic semblance that’s as infectious as it is irresistible.  

Cin Cin founder, Fort Romeau, delivers two cuts on home turf, teaming up with Jas Shaw (one half of Brit electronic duo, Simian Mobile Disco, and currently releasing solo material as part of his Exquisite Cops series) for a brace of deep, intergalactic tracks.  ‘Saturn Ascends’ is a space age, acid romance, whilst ‘Voices [no.III]’ offers up a more spirited piece, with lively percussion and a flitting tonal riff that is teased and tweaked through the space echo for good measure.

Further explorations into leftfield electronic rhythms are chartered on Cin Cin’s seventeenth release.  Bringing together two unique and talented artists on one release, Vanessa Worm and Sau Poler serve up four delectable cuts.

Vanessa Worm, debuts on Cin Cin, with one release for Optimo Music already behind her (and a full length album coming soon on Optimo).  ‘SLASH’ is built upon a drum machine heavy disco beat and a rampage of acid tones, battered vocal hits and a seriously funky groove.  Spacey punk funk business!  ‘444 – 000’ is also delivered in spirited fashion, a riotous blend of electro pop and heavy tech-funk is offered up, with Worm in playful mode, mashing vocals and samples together to marvelous effect.  

Sau Poler has been on our radar for sometime, following a string of infectious releases for Atomnation and Modern Obscure Music.  Hazy, tropical auras are deployed on ‘Primitiu’, as a raw 303 bassline cuts through a vivid sonic wilderness.  ‘Lunatic Decay’ also plunders a dense and equatorial sound, with a hypnotizing percussive rhythm holding steady a cloud of experimental sound design and studio inventiveness.

Connaisseur and the Italians: Una storia d’amore! Lehar, Musumeci or Olderic, just a few names of Italian artists that come to mind when thinking of the past few years of the Offenbach-based imprint. Now, a new name can be added to this illustrious round: Fabio Vanore, an Italian rooted DJ and producer living in the area of Bonn. He has built himself quite a reputation both in the periphery of Cologne as the resident of the well known club Tante Rike, and with releases on the highly respected Canadian labels mircoCastle and Incroyable Music, with which he is closely connected and where his debut album will come out by end of this year.

Back to his debut on Connaisseur. When we listened to Fabio’s tracks for the first time, we instantly enjoyed the demanding energy of his productions paired with some almost uplifting moments. His music is modern, groove- and melody-driven, flirting with techno (Theory Of Light), modern indie-dance variations ("The Prince") and high energy disco ("Midnight“). A brilliant foretaste of his upcoming album.

This already stunning release is rounded up by remixes by two of the most acclaimed artists of the moment: Bawrut and Cooper Saver. Both artists took the chance to prepare an interpretation for "The Prince". Bawrut used the percussion elements and built them around a rave house monster with balls. Cooper instead used synth elements and took them into a more rocking electro scenario. Two different directions but both state-of-the-art. We couldn't be happier about this release.

Originals and remixes will be released separately with a gap of two weeks.
