Argentinian producer @forestonstasys is a prolific artist in the techno scene with releases on labels including Harmony Records & Lowless. He also runs his own label with two fellow Argentinians called @danza-nativa (danzanativa.bandcamp.com) which focuses on showcasing a unique style of mesmerizing ambient techno. Forest On Stasys’ music is deep, hypnotic & sonically sublime. A lot of his tracks have a very tribal feel to them with tight rhythms made up of toms & bongos, field recordings & enchanting vocals. His music puts you into a trance & takes you to some outdoor dancefloor in the middle of the jungle. I highly recommend diving into his Mantrum EP on Harmony: harmonyrec.bandcamp.com/album/mantrum

Terrain, a new collaborative project from two London-based artists, debuts on the Delsin Mantis series. With an appropriately immersive, subliminal approach to contemporary techno, they present a sound split between low BPM, creeping intensity and dynamic broken techno. It clearly implies an acute instinct for the vibe the sublabel is exploring. Steely, dub-kissed textures and impulses shape out the space, while the drums fall in crisp, precisely interlocking formations.

It's something we never did but we felt like sharing a track of the forthcoming release of lunar convoy's recent label efja (@efja). We hope you'll enjoy this.

Julia Häller (@juicy_chewlie) is a producer & graphic designer from Bern (Switzerland). She's taking double duty in the 8-track compilation: offering a singular track called 'Redae' and creating the release artwork.

A few words about EFJA02:
𝙇𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙖 is the second outing on lunar convoy's efja label. Carte blanche has been given to the artists, allowing them to convey their own vision of experimental music. Throughout its 45min, Lacrima features a wide range of feelings and emotions, from the intricate 𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘯 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘬 to the tear-jerking 𝘐𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘏𝘪𝘭𝘭. A collection of dark & light ambient excursions, inherently personal and playful, meant to question past, present and future.

We proudly present the offical debut album of Mathilde Nobel: Founds on Land. Eleven magnificent dark experimental pop tracks written, produced and performed by Mathilde Nobel. 

"Today I woke up with a vague memory of yesterday. It's not the first time that I've encountered clouded memories. From where I lay I can see there are fresh cuts on my arms and feet and legs next to scarred over wounds. I turn my head and see that there are a few drops of blood dried on the white bathroom tile next to caked on red stains turned brown. I've reached the point where I stopped asking "why"? In fairness, I stopped asking "what?", too. I stand out of bed into a relatively organized room. There's no headache, no hangover, no shaking, no blurred vision. There's no nausea, no instability. One foot smoothly walks in front of the other. I trace my fingers along the white walls as I cross the threshold into the bright kitchen. Through the windows I see the city, its skyscrapers glowing in the cold winter morning sun. Beyond them I can make out the snowy mountains and the cold black ocean. As I dress in silence, my mind is empty and clear. My day is not purposeless, I'm not directionless. I have a calling and it's guiding hand leads me outside. As I step outside I turn left down the road one foot smoothly in front of the other, I'm not directionless; I walk in silence."

Rarefact is the title of Vishal Unni's upcoming release on Qilla Records and the track we happily host its premiere. Smoothly and gradually, its subterranean groove shakes its foundation and provokes, in turn, an unintentional mood elevation and body participation. Thus, complemented by tender pads and flickering background noise, the loop embraces us as it carefully unwinds. Leading, then, to a delightfully rewarding drop that introduces us to the track's closing chapter. A high-quality dance composition reminiscing adventurous excursions to obscure and dark dance floors. Or, in Vishal's words: "an ode to the Indian dance floors". After contributing a remix of Analog Context's 'Amygdala' and a track on the Artmosphere Volume 3 compilation, the Qilla Records A&R Vishal Unni is back with a six-track EP 'Rarefact' that also features remixes from ZRK and Martyn Päsch. 

Vishal is a Bangalore-based producer & DJ with a sound that can be described as a symbiosis of the deeper realms of techno, laced with futuristic soundscapes and psychedelic characteristics.

Our premiere for today, 'Asthayi,' is a dark, hypnotic broken-beat escapade infused with classic 303 acid synths. 

'Rarefact' releases on December 5th, with pre-orders on November 21st.

'sv_gravity 0', our premiere for today, is a mind-bending journey that blurs the lines between techno and electro and captivates the listener with lush pads and melancholic chords. The spacey sequence is a dominant force in this track that pairs like hand and glove with a fast-paced kick drum, creating a very energetic yet hypnotic atmosphere.

Locally grown talent is on deck for today as we welcome SPF 50 aka Stephan Kimbel Olso a fellow New Yorker and stalwart fixture of the scene. Through his residency at the Bob & Shirley party series, and running Professional Music, his sound and curation are always near. 

Today’s premiere of ‘Grove Map’ is a delightfully twisted affair, as undulating synths create an auditory wormhole surrounding the listener as soaring pads beckon and beckon forth, welcoming listeners to another world. Or as the label states, ‘named after The Grove, a stage deep in the woods at New York's Sustain-Release festival, where portals have long been known to be opened.’

Grove Map, and in turn the rest of the ‘Social Life’ EP will be released on March 17th by Bliss Point, a local label, no stranger to Delayed, whom we’re always listening to closely for forward thinking releases.

Minù Jr is a multi-faceted project, in constant evolution, always looking for new influences. His two techno-sounding EPs, Ostinato and Electronic Pulses, reveal the artist's discovery of electronic music production.
In the last one, Electronic Pulses, he presents his singularly audacious vision of techno with four tracks with different atmospheres.
This year, Minù Jr joins the roster of the Lyon-based collective/label Monochrome and increases the BPM towards a synthetic drum n bass tinged with dub. The programmer of Chalet Perché (which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year) continues his discovery with several strings to his bow and arrows always well sharpened.
