This is the 105th Ambient Sessions presented by Deep Electronics. These monthly released sessions brings you the best and the most diversity Ambient music can offer. This month Respira  makes his debute here on the Ambient Sessions. His piece consists of two live-recordings performed in Nature Tales Studio 2021 / 2022.

About:
Respira creates sonic realms of free form and fluidity, exploring texture, depth and the transcendental nature of sound. As a producer and sound-designer, Respira’s creative output is a constantly evolving process, which has been shaped through a vast amount of collaborative and solo projects over the years, including music and sound for yoga, guided meditations, audiovisual and multi-speaker installations, VR, poetry, performance art, movie soundtracks, animation film and podcasts. Respira is also co-founder of the label, event production and cultural community Nature Tales in Copenhagen.

This week we are inviting @mayilovesummer to our realms. Founder of Brooklyn-based and queer-focused collective @hybrididentity. This mix is a live recording of @mayilovesummer performing the opening duties for Berlin-based collectives @art-bei-ton party at Zion, Brooklyn.

ARTIST'S BIO:
@mayilovesummer strives to share and support music that she loves, giving her a stronger and very relatable voice to convey what inspires her. Music allows her to act as a vessel, creating a shared soul-cleansing experience. The meditative and ambient sounds work dichotomously within her mixes as patterns build and transcend, taking different forms and allowing emotions to be felt deeply and majestically.

Musically, she is influenced by dark, hypnotic, bass-driven, broken-beat techno, experimental, and ambient. Growing up in a family that followed Vaishnava tradition (one of the major forms of modern Hinduism) she is to this day naturally gravitated to Eastern sonic patterns. Paying close attention to ethics, diversity, and inclusivity when she constructs her mixes, she is mindful of the presence of female and queer artists in her collection.

The first Espacio Perpendicular show is Lucid Dreams, an event series focused on ambient and experimental sounds taking place by night, where dreams are confused with reality. The first Lucid Dreams show was recorded live with F-on and Coeval. 

F-on is in charge of the two first hours of the show. Then, Coeval, an underground artist from the experimental scene, and co-director of Sonikas festival takes over until the end

Oh Really? (Summertime Mix)

For our August edition, we are delighted to invite Yerevan-based artist Cloistral. Also known as Yhii, Davit has been a true pillar of the Armenian underground scene, having been one of the key figures behind the belated Poligraf club. He is also the founder of Back&forth, an electronic music label, event and podcast series, focusing on the deeper end of techno.

As Cloistral, he recently released his album ' Ներսը և դուրսը ' on the Swedish label offworldcolonies ltd., where several of his works have already appeared. Today, he has crafted for us an immersive journey, blending high-pitched sounds, dark gloomy underlying basslines, and drone atmospheres that are characteristic of his unique sound.
