Honestly, I prefer the heavier sounding drums of the original version over this one. This just feels like it lacks that omph and fullness of the original.

I composed another instrumental post-rock/post-metal track! 

I wanted a bit more of an atmospheric and moody vibe with this one, so there's less aggressive riffs, and more of an ambient/shoegaze-y style -- and a thematic sequel to an older song I made called "Nihility". I was initially going for more of a deftones influenced sound (with more distorted riffs), starting with a slow groove, but at some point the post-rock influence made more sense for the song, so I just followed through with it.
