Abstract

A recurrence of the Carrington solar storm event would have a significant effect not just on technological infrastructure. IMF-Bz, with its southerly orientation and negative polarity, is one of the defining variables for the event of intense Solar storms. The most important part of our approach to interpreting the Quran is establishing a tie between pertinent literature and the Quran. Thus, we follow Plato's instruction in the cave allegory; the Sun should enlighten us upon departing the cave. In verse (18:17) of the Cave chapter, the term [ṭalaʿat] that follows the word Sun signifies the Sun's position at the zenith. The second word [tazāwaru] designated the negative and southward direction of the IMF. Therefore, our anticipation that an intense CME would impact earth at the Sun at Zenith on 23 September 2022, about 5:07 UTC. In addition, hitting the earth's upper atmosphere is likely by a Solar flare that will coincide with the Sunset from the word [taqradum] that signified the Sun emission of the Kα Iron line within our approach. So, it is likely Solar flare coincides or precedes CME in striking the earth's upper atmosphere.

Dylan and I picked up the threads of this improv project after a few months break to pursue other things. Since #1 post a year ago ( https://soundcloud.com/no-mates-ensemble/duet-for-bass-guitar-and-a-huge-pile-of-crap1) the project has expanded - sometimes we don't even use a huge pile of crap but just the physical architecture of where we are set up ( look out for duet for Bass guitar and an empty warehouse), sometimes its a mini pile of crap, sometime 'no input'.. anyway the vibes the same - make some stuff up : )

Put Yourself First

“You’re My Beautiful” is a love song I wrote for my wife Emma, to mark three significant milestones in her life. First, I wanted to give her a unique and special gift from my heart in the form of a love song for her birthday.   Second, Emma took early retirement in August 2023 from academia and research and was a professor of epidemiology at Ontario Tech University (OTU) in Oshawa, Ontario. We have taught at various institutions together over the years including Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, University of Windsor and most recently at OTU. We were passionate about teaching; have both received teaching awards and have co-published five textbooks related to public health together over the years.  Emma has recently released her first fantasy novel (Emma P. Shan) entitled “Ozia: When the Sky Tore” and plans on writing additional novels. We have also worked not only as partners in marriage, but also in research related to various noncommunicable diseases such as heart disease, stroke, and dementia.  Third, Emma is a breast cancer survivor, and this December will mark the 10th anniversary of her victory over this deadly disease.

"You're My Beautiful" is a collaboration between myself and Stephen Wrench, who wrote this beautiful instrumental and did the acoustic guitar performance.  It also features 5 times nominated Grammy artist Molly Cherryholmes on violin. On January 8,  2024 it hit No. 1 on the Euro Indie Network Music ranking and was No. 1 World Indie Network Top 100 Music list. Stephen has been a 6x Grammy Awardee and has won over 50 Gold and Platinum records throughout his career journey that spans 5 decades now.
