My parents live about 450 miles away so I only get them a couple times a year. Thanks to modern technology, me and my Mom are able to play online Scrabble every Sunday afternoon. And also, thanks to the internet, I am able to play her a song. One that she can call her own. I was experimenting with a new style in which it is a series of mini songs within one song. All the "mini-songs" I refer to as "pillows". From a creator's standpoint, these pillows ended up being very easy to do mini-edits. It is a lot easier to re-record 10 seconds of a track than it is 4 minutes. Sometimes, if it is an instrument that is played for the entire song, like a rhythm guitar part for example, there isn't any punch in and out points if seamlessness and continuity are the goal. I love making original piano songs for ladies. Feel free to request one by DM or comment and I will get your email address that you would like me to send it to and can make you one within a week 😊. But at this time, here is a song for you Mom - one that you can call your own!

Bird Of Paradise

Nothing much to say here, as the title says it all. Hope you'll enjoy this sonic portrait of a spaceship crew saying goodbye to a few dozens Plutonian birds.
I made this out of a few recordings and experiments I had in my HD. More numbers will follow, sooner or later. I'm currently working on several tracks, aiming at putting an album together someday. 
I'd like to thank all you SC people who are still listening to my stuff even though I've spent a couple of years mostly on Pluto... I guess I'm finally taking off now, in a way or another. Hope you're all doing good, my friends.

Frequency/Algorithm

A couple of months ago I had the chance to jam with a couple of friends on guitars at a dinner party. We played a few Stones covers, and the vibe was ok. Then suddenly someone named the Velvet Underground, so I started strumming and singing a classic number we used to perform pretty often when we were young, "I'm Waiting For My Man". I could really feel it, and when I got home I thought it was worth trying to record it. In the past we used to cover the Live 1969 version, but this time I tried to blend it with a couple of other renditions, namely the 1972 Transformer Tour performance and an acoustic demo recorded in 1965. Quite obviously, I ended up adding to this bizarre jumble my own touch. I completed most of the tracking in about a week, but it took me a long time before trying to record vocals. It somehow sounded dull and trivial to my ears, so I had lost interest in finishing the song. Then a couple of weeks ago I felt inspired and I did the vocals. I also added an organ and a Cretan lyra parts, to make the ending section sound a bit more exciting.
Hope you'll enjoy this studio jam, I think it sounds quite unusual if compared to the rest of my stuff, but at the end of the day it's not so bad to listen to.
