Murder The Mic

(Vishnu is trying to persuade the prince that he should do his duty, and to impress him, takes on his multiarmed form and says, ‘Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.’)

The bombs start dropping, then the eyes start to cry
Mushroom clouds rise up to the sky
Radiation burns as the fallout spreads
Survivors are left but the world’s nearly dead
Destruction reigns, the Earth’s in decay
Nuclear winter, no light of day
Chaos ensues, anarchy rules
Humanity’s end, the world’s full of fools
The sky turns red, the ground shakes beneath
Flashes of light, the core starts to queef  
A roar like thunder, blast of intense heat
Smoke rises higher, folk start to retreat
I watched in horror as the buildings fall
Shockwaves ripple, fuckin’ it all
Prayers and panic, people running scared
The world as I knew it was no longer there
Mushroom clouds billow, radiation fills the air
Toxic fallout rains down, contaminating everywhere
This ain’t nightmare, this is reality
Such a tragedy, the end of humanity
I’m frozen in place but ma’ minds filled with dread 
I witness the living become the walking dead
Armageddon, the final chapter unfurled
The violation of this once vibrant world.
The end is near, the end is nigh
Annihilation, fuck, we’re all gonna die
Apocalypse now, its the final days
World War 3 has sealed our fate’s ways
Empires, now we can’t dig graves,  
Remnants of the past, cast out to the waves.  
Disintegrates, the night draws near,  
In the silence, you can hear the heavy weight of the fear.  
Eyes wide, primal instinct,  
Human race, brutal conflict.  
Hope’s a distant treasure buried deep in the dark,  
As you wander through the ruins, hear the dogs as they bark.  
Men against boys, it’s a savage game,  
Compassion fades away when only hunger remains.  
The streets are bloody, survival breeds greed 
In a world of desperation, it’s the crazies that lead.  
The sound of laughter becomes distant and rare,  
As the sun sets down, stripped, fucked and bare.  
So heed this tale of sorrow in a world gone array,  
Nuclear nightmares, beneath a neon sky.  
Bombs drop, chaos unfolds,  
Humanity, once stood bold.  
Cause’ deep down in the ashes, yeah, we’re left to reflect,  
On the choices that we made, and the lives we’d neglect.
