Hi friends, i am back with new music, for the first time in over 6 years. 

A lot of things have happened during that time span, so much that i can hardly recall it all and it seems everything went by in a blink of an eye: from the global pandemic to leaving Paris for my home and birth land, starting and developing my interior architecture practice, traveling, adopting a dog (that's her on the album artwork! Say hi to Gin), buying a house, losing loved ones, having a baby, getting married... Life. 

With all these things happening, I had to prioritize and try to organize things to find some time and manage to achieve it all. This is why i unfortunately took a break from music, hoping i'd get more time and will back some time soon. 

And a little less than a year ago, I finally found some time and motivation back and started writing and composing music whenever i had a chance to. 

In 6 years you can imagine that I listened, seen, lived, met and absorbed many sounds, songs, landscapes, experiences, people and pieces of art. 

I see this small album - called to new beginnings - as some kind of collection of time stamps from different moments of my life that built me and somewhat crystalized versions of my past and present selves. 

It also encapsulates the things i've learned with the various projects i've had: using my voice as 3 Roses, playing live instruments as a part of Pharms, creating immersive ambient soundscapes and atmospheres as Murphy Cooper or heavy drum and bass treatment as Telmini.

Also, from now on, Kulkid will remain my sole moniker for all the electronic music i create, while i'll release my more ambient and organic instrumental compositions under my real name, Thomas Ouf. 

Anyway, I just hope you will be able to get into each of these 8 songs from various genres (streaming links are in my bio) - some of them are old, refurbished ones, some others are brand new - but at the end of the day, they're all reflecting who i am in some kind of way and i like it just like that. 

See you hopefully in less than 6 years.

The artwork was taken in 2014 on the roof of an old abandoned printing house in Munich, which we used as a temporary use. It was the first time being able to help and set up something with friends in an actual space without limitations and most compromises.
