Blanco was born in Queens Ny, and at the age of 2 his family moved to Brooklyn NY in and area known as Bedford-Stuyvesant. There he was raised in a multicultural community known for its violence but yet diverse environment. It was here that Blanco was introduced into the hip hop culture and where he began experimenting with music by singing and rapping in front of a mirror and by the age of 14, he began writing verses. He was also involved in the church choir and played musical instruments such as the "guira" and "tambora".
He then moved to Pennsylvania and met his future duo partner "El Nene Nova" forming the Reggaeton duo Blanco y NoVA also known as ByN. It is here where his career as a musical artist expanded and is now a local sensation in many areas of Pennsylvania. Blanco has had the opportunity to perform in clubs, in birthday parties (sweet sixteens), latin festivals, and even fundraisers. However, it does not end there as for the latin duo has plans that will lead them to definite success that you as the public will just have to wait and see. So follow Blanco and with your support  he will make it his priority to entertain you and fall in love with the genre that you loved once before.... Reggaeton....

His Grandfather being a musician, mother being a singer and dancer, John Martinek comes from an Entertainment background. It was natural he would become a talented singer songwriter. Always helping others, John is considered compassionate and caring. Passionate about music and people, John enjoys writing relatable music and advancing perspective talent in their careers.
 
Born in South America at the age of 1 was migrated into the United Stated where his mother met and fell in love with an American man who then she married and adopted john and his siblings. Recognizing his talent at the age of 7, John found it easy for him to mimic sounds and songs playing on television and the radio. Developing a passion for singing, he performed at his local school talents shows where he recognized his true calling as an Entertainer. As a growing artist, John was influenced by R&B and Hip Hop started and began writing songs and performing them at his locally in Queens, NY. Influences include, Boys 2 Men, R Kelly, NAS, Eminem, Usher.
 
Early in John’s career, he decided to relocate to PA to focus on education and music. John then signed to a record label for 2 years. Discouraged by the management’s marketing, John left this label and began to write and produce music independently. Collaborating with various artists locally, JMarmusik has reemerged to move forward to reach new heights and take on the industry as a singer/songwriter with SGE Music.

Since first breaking onto the alt-pop scene in 2007, Owl City has built a global following on the strength of his heart-on-sleeve songwriting and endlessly inventive sound.
