If I had to list my favorite new artists of 2016, LÉON is without a doubt at #1 - the first time I heard Tired of Talking, I instantly became a fan.  She’s got a completely unique sound, which is rare for a pop artist - and her voice and songwriting are absolutely incredible.  She’s been right at the top of my ‘Artists I’d like to remix’ list since then, so when her team gave me the chance to work on this track I was super hyped about it.  

One of my favorite things about remixing is that it’s an opportunity to completely reinterpret and reimagine a record - sometimes you find small things buried in the stems of a song that you think would be an interesting main element, even though the listener could barely hear it in the single mix.  I found the chorus-like vocal lead you hear in the intro and verses of this remix in the stems, and after messing with the formants on it in Melodyne I realized it would be an awesome and super vibey anchor to build the track around.  Hope you guys enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed making it ✌🏻
