New Noise is a bi-weekly segment on Y108's Indie show hosted Mike Mitchell and Ashley Stennett. The New Noise is all things punk rock. We'll do some punk, hardcore, post-hardcore, metalcore, pop-punk, and everything else in between. Don't forget culture and lifestyle, either. We'll touch on that too. 

We'll also have interviews from your favourite bands, and keep you up to date on concerts and events in Hamilton and the GTA.

The owner of club specialists Clarisse Records, Swiss-born Mendo has been crossing the coordinates of deep, tech, tribal and funky house since the Millennium countdown, and this year celebrates 20 years of being at the sharp end of the scene. As one of the underground’s most requested remixers he has well over a 200 tracks to his name and remixes for Danny Tenaglia, Nina Kraviz, Steve Lawler, Damian Lazarus, Monika Kruse, Chus & Ceballos, DJ Sneak or Deadmau5, to name a few. Released across some of the best electronic music labels such as Hot Creations, Desolat, Moon Harbour, VIVa MUSiC, Circus Recordings, Elrow Music, Abode, Saved Records, Knee Deep In Sound, Crosstown Rebels, Defected Records, Rekids, Terminal M, 8bit, Stereo-Productions, Cadenza and Toolroom Records.

The Italian-German composer, DJ and founder of the record label 99CHANTS. He has been releasing music since 2010, but it took self- evaluation and a re-examination of his priorities for August to lean towards the future and follow his most experimental inclinations.
In 2023, his output is harder than ever to define, stretching across genres and disciplines to chafe the heart of the human experience.
