Side By Side marks another delectable offering of immersive, avant-garde house music from the burgeoning imprint, which continues to carve itself a reputation as one of the most exciting labels on the international house music circuit.

Produced by founding Scenarios crew members MAGA, Sean Doron, Emanuel Satie & Tim Engelhardt, the featuring artists make their combined intentions known from the outset, conjuring an uncompromising blend of hypnotic kicks, whirring synth lines and exquisitely layered samples. A refined production with a mesmerising groove that drives the record across its duration, Side By Side captivates from the off and sees the four Scenarios artists add to the label’s flourishing catalogue with yet another seismic dancefloor weapon.

The release of Side By Side comes just one week ahead of Scenarios’ huge showcase event in Tulum on Friday, January 20, where Emanuel Satie, Maga, Sean Doron, Tim Engelhardt and a very special guest (TBA) will descend on a Jungle Cenote in Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula for a truly memorable party to kickstart the New Year.

“I made a new EP. It’s called Tears. 
My father has dementia. It’s a horrible disease, which besides dehumanising the affected, also demands a lot from the people around the person. The first track from the EP is called “Tears In Your Eyes, and it is a reflection of the grief, sorrow, pain and guilt that comes from seing someone you love, dissapear while they are still alive.”

Underground mainstay Guy Gerber is back on his own Rumors label with new EP Leave It On. Across three tracks he showcases his famously emotive and melodic house sounds. 

Gerber has been a core part of the underground for years, headlining the world's most revered clubs and festivals, collaborating with P. Diddy, bringing all new party concepts to Ibiza, and serving up serene and synth heavy soundscapes that move people physically and emotionally on labels like Cocoon, Italians Do It Better and Rumors. 

This one kicks off with the lush deep house elegance of 'Leave It On' with its languid bass and live sounding drums. Swirling pads and atmospheric vocals bring a romantic feel to this late night jam. 'Leave Me' then picks up the pace with more percussive but still smooth grooves, this time doused in sweeping chords that bring sunshine and soul. 'Jupiter Blues' closes out with a cosmic exploration, the gently tinkling keys shining like stars as warm, rubbery drums carry you onwards and upwards.

He debuts on Do Not Sit with 'Mevora', an outstanding primetime track that is an infectious as he is. It comes with a remix from none other than Amine K, who leaves his mark on the single with his own signature flair. Big one all around.

Jonathan Kaspar, fresh from the release of his excellent 'We Come' EP on Crosstown Rebels, now turns his talent to remixing 'Open Door'; the deep, emotive, broken beat number from the Polish duo's glorious 2015 Album 'Basic Colour Theory.'

Utilising Cloud Boat's beautiful vocal with precision, Kaspar crafts a mystical, simmering late night soundtrack. One that is set to be a firm favourite for the season ahead.

Birds of Mind tease upcoming Body Language compilation with new single 'Don't Leave Me Here'.

Paris-based duo Birds of Mind, aka Alex H. and Adrian C, are Get Physical Music mainstays who were last on the label with superb singles 'Mi Pena' and 'No Time For Tears' back in 2022. In late 2021, they also served up a superb full-length album on Kindisch and are never far from the upper ends of the Beatport Organic House chart, such is the charm of their music. They bring great spirituality, deep drums and captivating moods each and every time and will showcase that on their entry into the esteemed Body Language series.

But first comes this super single 'Don't Leave Me Here' which pairs bouncing rubbery kicks with a melodic bassline that rides up and down the scale. Soft shakers and wispy pads add lush late-night feelings while the tender piano chords that slowly unfold bring inescapably powerful emotions. Add in some angelic wordless coos and seductively whispered words and you have a spine-tinging new cut from this cultured pair.
