'It's not an Interview' is a series of conversations hosted by Daniel Olabode, with the aim to learn, discuss and promote the creative endeavours and ideas of his guests through conversation.


My first experiences djing were at kinky parties and burner events! It is still one of my favourite things to do: providing music for people who are interacting with each other and doing some bdsm play or take a little break and dance. I like making sure that there are nice vibes and a good flow.
I also really enjoy playing at outdoor parties: a burn-event in the swiss mountains where I played in an LED dome, a portable djing cart with lights in a forest on a full moon night, in a park by the zurich lake... hopefully many more to come.
Also a big highlight for me was to play at the World of Whorecraft in Hamburg and support a good cause. An event organised by sexworkers for sexworkers and their supporters & friends!
Sometimes I casually hung myself up in ropes (self suspension with shibari) while I was djing. That's been a fun experience that I'd love to do as part of a live performance someday!
