Never Be Like You feat. Kai

The first time I saw Foals playing live was such a slap. The last time for their new album as well. These guys give off something massive and rough, but in the same time pretty aerial. I’m glad to have remixed “Birch Tree” which means a lot of stuff. Tried to picture it a bit like a secret place with a powerful signification. A place where spirits can meet. I tried to take the soul of the original track and to make it more personal & cinematic – mixing some smooth arpeggios with rough basslines and heavy drums.
