Presenting our next guest DJ, V! She’s a dynamic force in the music scene, rooted in San Diego with a bold spirit that took her to NYC at 18. Falling in love with Soulection shows, she began her DJ journey, specializing in hip-hop, R&B, house, trap, baile funk, and jersey club. V! is a proud graduate of Season 13 of the Academy of DJs, and she’s now a key member of SoulCtrl and a resident DJ at Rewind... one of Orange County's top events. This was a replication of my set at Real Ones with a few added bonus tracks. This one was special: this was my second appearance opening for Real Ones (I rarely do public gigs), but most importantly, I got to rock alongside friends and my mentors (inTRIOverts) to celebrate the last of my 30s! 

A BIG thank you to Real Ones for having me and allowing creative space to play whatever the f*ck we want regardless of slot times! If you've never experienced a Real Ones party, they hold it down every first Sunday of the month in Long Beach, CA! BE THERE!

*Sidenote: I desperately wanted to get this mix out in time for my birthday and spent countless days and hours trying to record it to my liking, so I'll likely re-record it at some point..? ...or not?! Nonetheless, hope you enjoy it!
