8x GRAMMY® Award-winning singer/songwriter/producer, Stephen Marley just released his new album Old Soul on September 15, 2023 - his first full-length project since 2016. Featuring a stellar line-up of special guests including Bob Weir, Eric Clapton, Jack Johnson, Ziggy Marley, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Buju Banton, and Slightly Stoopid, the 14-track acoustic-inspired album is now available on all digital platforms via Tuff Gong Collective/UMe/Ghetto Youths International. Old Soul comes as a complete revelation. While grounded from the road during the COVID lockdown, Stephen set up a new studio on a remote family farm in the Florida countryside, holding nightly jam sessions in a converted garage. With a stripped-down ensemble comprising binghi drums, bass, acoustic guitar, and flute, Stephen played whatever he felt like — ranging from original compositions and reggae rarities with deep personal meaning to classics recorded by Ray Charles, Frank Sinatra, and The Beatles. “Irie vibration,” Stephen says of the sounds made together on the farm. The lion’s share of Old Soul was recorded during these “unplugged” jam sessions.

Even as the album showcases Ragga’s versatility, the message within his music remains consistent. “We come to free the people’s minds,” says Stephen. “Only way you can free your soul is to free your mind. My father say, ‘No chains on my feet, but I’m not free.’ And then he come say, ‘Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery.’ Anywhere the music calls us, we are going to be there to spread the message of love and unity.” 

Old Soul explores a musical palette that spans a variety of cultures and genres alike, with hand-selected special guests furthering the spiritual journey that encompasses the album. 

In celebration of the new album, Stephen has embarked on an ambitious Old Soul Tour Unplugged 2023 through the fall.

Corbansick was formed in July 2003. by Fedja Šehić (Guitars) and Goran Valka (Keybords). They are often credited as ''fusion band'' because of their mixture of various musical styles such as Metal, Rock, Hip hop, Funk and Jazz. Soon after the decision to gather a band, Igor Benić joins the band as vocal and two new members, Haris Kurspahić, bass, and Stefan Pejović, drums. After long brainstorming, it's decided that the new formed band shall be called «Corbansick», a fusion of words Core, Band and Sick. Gigs all over the country soon followed, where «Corbansick» start to attract fans from whole BiH territory. Soon after that, two demos are recorded, «Broken» and «Pissed Off», to present themselves to the wider audience. The songs find their way to the radio stations and various compilations. Apart from many gigs in the throughout the country, the band is invited by the «Upgrade» festival in Germany to play along with 20 bands where they receive positive critics and are described as a "young and upcoming band with a bright future ahead by the German MTV - Their combination of diverse music genres contributes to the originality of their style. «Corbansick» has a unique sound and style, today widely known as «Rapcore» (Hardcore and Rap), through heavy Hardcore riffs and Funky bass line. They combine rap and shout vocals with old school rhythms and samples, with ambiental and psychedelic keyboard admixture". At the end of last September, 3 band members decided to leave the band After the original members of Corbansick decided to quit the band, the band had stagnated. Fedja and Goran have, by the end of September 2006 nearly decided to, after 6 years of joint work, call it a day and abandon the idea of forming the new band, as it had required almost everything to be done from the scratch. However, in December 2006 Fedja and Goran had invited Ensar Bistrivoda to be a new lead singer, and he said yes. Soon after that two new members joined Corbansick: Dino Osmić (drums) and Muhamed Mulaosmanović (bass). Corbansick had decided to throw out all the old songs and do new ones.Soon after that, Goran Valka decided to leave the band for personal reasons. Now, the band is a 4 peace group still working hard and getting ready for challenges to come!
