Local Talk is one of those labels, without a doubt a favourite of ours and many other around the world. Owned by Swedish twosome Tooli and Mad Mats, the label has made quite an impact in its relatively short lifetime and we're very pleased to have received a brilliant new mix from them, together with a cheeky little interview, too! Sandwell Districtに通ずる爆撃のような硬質のインダストリアル・ビート、幾重にも織り重ねられた細やかでとろけるようなダブ的音響処理がほどこされた上音、そしてうねり舞いあがる魔術的グルーヴをあわせもち、不穏な未来を啓示するかのようなアポカリプティック（終末、黙示録）な音を鳴らしている。
未曾有の大震災から丸1年の2012年3月、初来日を果たし、DOMMUNE、nu things、UNITでのプレイは独創性と想像力にあふれており新たな時代の到来を予感させるには十分であった。その後、MNMLSSGSにアップされたロングMIXを皮切りに、いくつものMIX音源がアップされ、アップされるたびに世界中から新鮮な驚きと賛辞を持って迎えられている。また、2013年2月と2014年1月のUNITでの来日時には息を飲むのも忘れるほど壮大で強烈なロングセットを披露し真価を発揮、その評価を揺るぎのないものとする。

-2014年1月25日に開催されたFRUE＠UNITの時に録音したもので、7時間弱のロングセットから抜粋してあります。

-このミックスのコンセプトやアイデアなどあれば教えてください。

-このGigは私にとって日本で初めてのOpen to Lastのロングセットでした。映像を気鋭の映像作家・Pedro Maiaが担当し、コンセプトは音楽を通じ人間の精神の深さを探るというものでした。私たちには様々な景色を描き出し、そして、人々の意識を変え感情を解放させるには十分な時間がありました。


-近況を教えてください。

-Cassegrain, Mike Parker, Claudio PRC, and TM404のRemixを制作しました。そして、現在、自身の12インチをリリースするために集中しています。これは日本に触発されたものなので、日本のみんなが気に入ってくれるといいな！

Hi my name is S_EncE (pronounced like essence) and i´m from northern germany. I started making music about twelve years ago when a friend of mine got Propellerhead ReBirth. From that day on i spent a lot of my money on things for music-production. First i started with Propellerhead Reason Version 1.0. Later on i bought some hardware and was hooked on the knobs and cables-thing.Today, all of my music comes just from hardware, computer is just used to record it. Since 2 years my tracks come up like this:
i start the machines, program some patterns and melodies and then hit the record button and start a live-jam-thing. So, there is definately no total recall and stuff like that. Once a track is recorded i would not change it.
The reason why i´m producing music is that there are so many ideas and sounds and feelings in my mind that had to get out. And for me the only way to get them out is to jam with my machines.

Jonna was a very skinny teenager as he used to save what little money he had (often the dinner money his mum gave him) to spend on records every week. Inpired by the likes of Kerri Chandler, Derrick Carter, H Foundation, Pepe Bradock, Strictly Rhythm & Moody Records out of Chicago!
The future is looking bright For Jonna & City Fly with bigger and better parties coming up, already published releases lined up on City Fly from the likes of Creative Swing Alliance, Flori, Iron Curtis, Kez YM & Andres with Jonna also stepping into the Studio. Jonna has also attracted the attention of the new Illusion Agency who will now be handeling dj bookings, label parties and managing a few of City Fly key artists.

Sidney Charles' Heavy House Society labels turns up the heat for the summer with a new release from the head honcho himself. His previous release on the label garnered heavyweight support and acclaim from DJs and dance floors alike and his recent remix for powerhouse Ibiza brand, Do Not Sleep, is currently smashing the specialist store charts, and Charles has wasted no time in keeping the output and pressure up. It's quite clear what the prolific Berlin based producer has been up to during lockdown.

For his second release on his label, he has brought in the incredibly talented Black Loops, who is well known for his slick productions on labels such as PIV, Toy Tronics, Gruuv, Pets Recordings and Freerange to name just a few. 

The title track of the EP, Swing Theory, is a delectable cut of minimal deep house. With shuffling hats, skipping beats, a grooving bassline combining with searing pad washes, short plucky chords and lead line, it delivers 7 minutes of groove in its purest form.

The third track, Sin City, is another deep and minimal house cut with intricate and delicately arranged chords, leads and beats, with ambient pads in the background, which stands tall amongst the rest
