"Luise, a dj and producer from Hanover/Germany has been in love with music since childhood. She started producing music with Ableton Live and play DJ sets with vinyl 10 years ago. Her Music is a mixture of warm, analog and minimalistic, but melodic sounds. Since 2021 Luise has been part of the Flinta network called Qenem.
I think gender equality in club culture is very important. I had numerous bad experiences with partys and sexism. Experiences that made me decide to do something about it, because I know so many Flinta with similar experiences. The music industry and the club scene is marked by patriarchal structures.
When I started making music, it was quite hard to establish contacts. Almost no one takes a young woman seriously, who wants to start making music. It was really upsetting. But music is my greatest passion, that's why those circumstances couldn't stop me from doing it.
I‘m really happy about queerfeminist collectives and networks like Zena and Qenem. In my opinion its time to support each other and change the club culture."

Luise is a well known producer and DJ from Hannover. Her sound combines funky, minimalistic house with a lot of analog warmth. She has been playing and collecting vinyl records for almost 10 years. Since 2021 Luise has been part of the Flinta* network called Qenem @qenem

Tobias (Jon Borno|2bias) is a DJ from Hannover who started collecting and playing records four years ago. With his minimalistic, groovy and dub-influenced sound his sets span across genre-borders. As part of the Unterholz collective he has hosted several events in off-locations.

Their shared history goes back to 2018, when they played their first gig together. Since then the two influenced each other and played several b2b sets. Their styles diverged over time, but their harmonic sounds and shared passion remain.
This time they recorded a set ranging from pumping electro to ambient breaks.

Saba: "Letztens war ich zuhause und wollte die Wohnung putzen. Leider war ich voll unmotivert und hatte null Bock. Also habe ich einfach zuhause aufgelegt. So von DJing her. Als ich mir das Set angehört habe, war ich dann voll motiviert die Wohnung zu putzen. Danke für eure Aufmerksamkeit.

Kr!z joins for DifferentSound Podcast #211.

Kr!z has been at the forefront of techno for more than a decade. Influenced by the hypnotic and energetic sound helmed by veterans such as Jeff Mills, Steve Rachmad and James Ruskin, he gradually but steadily developed his own identity in the international techno scene. 

After making a name for himself as a skilled DJ with sharp focus and a quick mixing style in home country Belgium and the Netherlands, Kr!z launched Token Records in 2007. It has since been a leading outlet for heady, purist sounds. He rapidly established the label as a fixed value with a timeless and powerful sound and took it around the world with label nights on every continent. Token remains important in defining techno today - always straightforward, sometimes weird, often catchy – all under the helm of Kr!z as avid A&R.

After 12 years spent assiduously focused on curating the Token discography, showcasing artists he has nurtured and supported over this time, and incorporating the connoisseur’s knowledge and experience he has cultivated in his work as a DJ, 2019 saw the release of his long awaited debut EP on Token. ‘Mantra’ received high acclaim by both media and the scene's key DJ’s. This continued in 2020, when he released the track ‘Scorpion’s Tail’ on Voltage Imprint and ‘Malice’ & ‘Imperative Needs’ as part of a split EP with Pfirter on his MindTrip label. 2022 was his most prolific year to date with three full EPs seeing the light of day: ‘Neutrino EP’ on James Ruskin’s Blueprint Records, ‘The Tunnel’ on Setaoc Mass’ hotshot SK_eleven and ‘Atlantis’ on his own Token Records. In 2023 he released ‘Revelation’, his follow up on Blueprint.

As a DJ, Kr!z takes listeners on journey’s surpassing space and time. Led by deeply hypnotic grooves, syncopated rhythms and widely reverberating atmospheres, his desire to guide the dancefloor into unknown depths can be felt with every note. Intensities build up and collapse under his skillful hands, knowing what each knob twist will result in. Each set feels almost like a mathematical calculation, deciphering the code of collective ecstasy.

Love letter from DJ Chichi 💌

Today is a special day, Chichi brings us flowers and pralines. Everyone who’s heard her play will know what to expect: A variety of well chosen records, played in a fine mixture of vinyl and digital. Nothing less than an hour of deep diving into soundscapes and emotions. A connoisseur set - wrapped with love, with tracks by Dj Plead, Acidfinky, Miles Amillion, David Löhlein and others.

You can almost grasp the concentration seeing Chichi play, leaving a remarkable feeling of seriousness about the craft. That is also what she transports while talking. She feels deeply connected to the scene, being the reason why her and the xcuse:u events are demanding change without just opening another hedonistic space. Having organized the 8-to-the-floor-event at Alte Münze, hosting a show on Refuge Worlwide, having played at OXI, Mensch Meier and our beloved Kiek Beyond Festival, Chichi has become a crucial part of the scene.

In episode 12 of the Visionscast, DJ Chichi moves around through genres and moods, from groovy percussions and vocal samples over deep house to proggy and breaky sections, presenting her whole toolbox of electronic joy. This joy has also reached Visionskultur, which is why Chichi has not only played one of the legendary B2Bs with BBY G at Humboldthain Club for a Visionskultur Club Night or taken over the Nest floor at our festival, but has also evolved to being a very much appreciated and loved human being <3

Finally, here is my Station Endlos set, played in November 23. 
I played this one for a very curious and intimate crowd. The beauty of a crowd like this is, it gives you the chance to - after gaining their trust - musically send them from here to there to everywhere and play some weird shit you normally would not dare to touch… so that is what I did ;)

Jannik Dosz was born on the 10th of june 1994 in Hameln (germany). 
As a four year old he gained his first musical experiences by trying to play the preset songs on his father's keyboard all by himself. His interest in music grew constantly in the ensuing years: being 11 years old he started teaching himself how to play drums and guitar. 
During puberty his musical imprinting led him to discover his love for electronical dance music and he instantly had an itch to perform this kind of music. 
After graduating school in 2014 he knew he didn't want to spend energy by doing regular academic studies but by studying the night life and clubs around Hannover.
After some - not necessarily legal -  open air events he connected with the crew of Operation Techno at Tiefgang Club who instantly recognized his musical potential and supported his talent by giving Jannik Dosz the chance to start his own Party called Junkyard. On 21th of april 2017 the first event took place - followed by many more, leading Junkyard to a growing popularity.
Jannik Dosz unmistakable style is inspired by the techhouse scene of italy and spain - bringing fresh and uplifting sounds to germany.

Jonas Poser was born on 31st august 1993 in Germany (Büren, Paderborn). Ever since his childhood on he was stoked by music and got into developing rhythms and beats – leading him as an 8 year old boy to the music association Leiberg where he started playing the drums. Soon it became obvious that he's gifted with great talent. Becoming more and more passionate about playing the drums he ensued this passion which he constantly persued until this day. Being 13 years old he slowly gained interest in electronic music which deepend in his later teen years. Making his first club experience, he was immediatly hooked by th​​e concept of a 'concert' with no breaks in between the particular songs but the steady flow of music. Instantly, he became inspired to mix by himself and proceeded to acquire knowledge and know-how; evolving skills and his own unique style step by step. His first performance in front of an audience happened to be in his hometown Paderborn. However, this continued to really get started by moving to Hannover with 21 years and meeting his now close friends. Based on a common sense of music they founded the Junkyard Collective. Blessedly, TiefgangClub Hannover offered them the chance to stage their own series of events. Presenting music genres from deep minimal to techno and elating the guests with fresh sounds.
