Eastwood King Machete aka Tone'Ka originally started up, DJing under Philly's own International DJ D ROCK and DJ Too Tuff of Philadelphia's legendary hip hop group the Tuff Crew later linking with a local producer and known Rapper named Alcachaz da headscalpa aka> Alc Artica along with Clever 1 da Homicidal & Slimyillfingaz bka> Him Lo creating demos under the moniker Bermuda Triangle. The group performed in the tristate making track recordings although without a record deal the crew later venturerd off onto doing their own projects. As for myself I continued production, DJing events and partys while other members would perform and attend rap event shows. A merger of 2 artist from the group would create Clever 1 & Him Lo as the dua #DaBuzeBruvaz. me rhyming subsequently Clever 1's assertive influence forwarded me to put a project out. Also while creating tracks alongside with Alc Artica. I later came up with the group name, called "Black Ocean". BIOGRAPHY

      Formerly known as Malick Da 1da, born and raised in Cameroon, Ben Malick is a Hip-Hop-Boom-Bap-oriented Producer/Beatmaker, Emcee, Audio Engineer and Entrepreneur who's been in the game for 24 years.

Inspired by some Legends of the likes of Rakim, Nas, Sean Price (R.I.P), DJ Premier & 9th Wonder (just to name a few), he debuted his Rap's adventure three years before setting the first pattern ever of an instrumental beat assisted by Fruity Loops, discovering the relevance of learning how to record and mix his own creations on Cubase, year after year.

From his recording home-studio, Faith Studio, dumping everything created with some MIDI controllers keyboards (M-Audio Oxygen 8 and Worlde 25) on FL Studio 9 XXL Producer Edition, recording and engineering songs on Cubase 4, Ben is prominent over his style related to crates-digging and synthesizers sounds powered by an analog system, hardcore rhymes-spitting reminiscent over that 90's-era raw sound blended with a little something of modernity _Hip Hop Heads call it True School _. 

Ben has on his personal record three (3) studio albums and seven (8) tracks singles, and five (5) Beat Tapes, all released under his own Label/Company HEARTZ & SOULZ Music Group; also 6 collaborative projects and scoring many other Artists music with beats production, notably some Hip Hop Legends of the likes of Big Shug (Gang Starr Foundation), Solomon Childs (Wu-Tang Killah Beez), Access Immortal and many more Emcees in the Underground.
