Ekho the Ethereal - Shattering Perspective

Because that's what every letters for 
Every step is for, every settled score
A hopeless mind can still thirst for knowledge
Life aint nothing more than a simple metaphor

And I ain't up for being paralyzed by my fear
I wanna to be alone hence the shedded tear
and I never really been a fan of drinking beer
But I will be gone before other races appear
Strange days into even Stranger tides
And what I do and what I say aint for you to decide ,
Im trying to figure out whats happening on the inside
But I wanna travel the Earth and not listen to politics
But I'd rather stay in bed and watching Netflix
I am a just another small stone in a row of bricks
and I hope we get to set flight on broomsticks
and I will proudly follow you up on the crucifix 
because I'm afraid of being empty
I sit inside a pointless assembly
I see being strange as complementary
And I will eat the sun as I stomp gently
The sun hurts my eyes so I close my blinds
I can see the waves leaving from different times
They draw closer to an equinox once left behind
and I will come back home once the clock chimes and explain

I want to pick a fight with Batman
I will be better than that man, I don't care what they demand
They will die as I advance, I'm gonna build a spaceship
To take day trips to the fall of dictatorships
and evolve into a better being with the basics
But why jump over when you can move the hurdle
I like to keep telling myself that my aura is purple
Blurred vision, Why do all these squares make a circle
but yeah, we can go and try to something universal
My words leave an after fragrance
And I've never been known for my patience, Nor as your acquaintance
This race is being slowly being destroyed by small statements
How many more words can I use
Is it the red or blue pill that I choose
And I'm happy if I win, but I'm comfortable if I lose
But everytime I try to escape this
The doors stuck, I cant make it 
I will hang charms from my bracelet
I'm alive but how do I explain this without all the vaugness
No-one likes change or phase shifts
But I'm proud that I made this
When was the last time I flew and how many days has it been since?

If only you could listen
You continue to grow distant
Because of something deep missing
Caught between real and dispotision
Angels weep disappointed tears, 
Lost in a mist of fears
The void is close, forever near
Another beginning to a blood soaked year
The soilders were selected at random
A sea of drowned voices sing the anthem
Those below bicker and throw tantrums
Cuz their held to their own ransoms
Theres a part of you that feels out of sync
You're not as vacant as you may think
You're never alone, you must visualise the link
Cuz Death is my other half 
And she refills my ink
We've see pain too much to hide
I know how it feels to be dead yet somehow alive
Yearning for another life
Belonging to the other side
Remember it's human nature 
To naturally survive

So I write

My lungs filled, I speak with fire
My mind over electrified and wired
I cannot lay to dream yet I am so tried
Others fall pray to sadness I use it to inspire
Because I have become what I fear
I must protect those I hold dear
And for myself I do not shed a tear
When I'm stood in a cold bathroom staring in the mirr-

Do I scream make this year yours
Or do I try to stay sincere
I claw at my arms and throat try make it clear
I ain't me or you, it's just "we're"
Because It's weird
Because it's us
We turned on each other poised by lust
Our skulls have begun to age and rust
Till a morning spring wind turns us to dust
They say you die twice
Once when you're soul leaves for the light
And once more, on a cold December night 
When your name is mentioned for the last time
But you remain immortalised in the hearts
Of those that you saved from falling apart
You burdened yourself so you gave them a head start 
A broken mind to me is a work of art
You, the most important person, do not hang your head in sorrow
Being proud isn't arrogant, nor does it make you hollow
Do not feel ashamed to ask for help or borrow
So take my hand, my dear friend, and I'll take you to tomorrow
