Michael Madzi, professionally known as MK Onik is a hip hop artist and songwriter based in Lilongwe. He has started rapping since youth at the age of 9 or 10 and made his first song as a featured artist with the name MadKid in 2013.

In early 2017, he released his first single as MK Onik and afterwards has continued to release his music.

MK Onik sights Young Thug and Kendrick Lamar as his main influences and many other artists which have contributed to his musical style.

MK released his very first mixtape titled MadKid in July 2020.
He has also released his very first EP the same year in November titled Black Knight.


Architect, construction manager, university tutor, music producer, gamer, self taught software developer and a human being who follows the motto "less is more"
