AWSM is an indie-folk artist and songwriter hailing from Los Angeles, renowned for his stripped-back, guitar-driven sound. His minimalist style, marked by evocative guitar melodies and poignant lyrics, draws inspiration from icons like Johnny Cash, Skinshape, Leon Bridges, and Michael Kiwanuka. 

At the helm of AWSM is Asim Khan, whose music captures the essence of our times with a focus on vulnerability and well-being.

Asim's journey to music is far from traditional. After a prosperous career in business he then earned his MD to practice medicine. However, a devastating Valentine’s Day revelation prompted him to turn to music for solace. What began as a personal endeavor quickly resonated with listeners, and the support and connection he found through his music encouraged him to embrace his talents and continue recording.

AWSM believes in the healing power of music, crafting songs that reflect his own experiences while offering comfort to others. His work promises to resonate deeply, providing a mirror for others to see their own struggles and triumphs through his heartfelt art.

L2B emerged with his debut mixtape "The Elm City Assassin (Hosted by DJ Capcom)." The mixtape included songs such as “R.I.P. Moe Milly” - “Nike Boots,” and the hugely popular remix of Rihanna’s “Disturbia," which gained over 500,000 plays & downloads alone in 2009. 

The New Haven, Connecticut-native was then spotlighted on the rapper Game's Black Wallstreet Mixtape “MONSTARS," and was presented alongside Gucci Mane, Waka Flocka, Jim Jones, and more on the highly-widespread mixtape “Blood is Thicker Than Water Pt. 12." L2B then released his 2nd mixtape “Makin’ Moves," featuring some of L2B’s most popular songs including "Kush (Remix)” - “Memories (Remix),” and “Bring it Back."

In 2014, L2B released his 3rd mixtape, "Hallucinations," showcasing a darker, more aggressive side. The project highlighted the popular remix of the Imagine Dragons song "Monster," as well as other conceptual songs such as "Super-Hero" and "Dreamstuck."

3 years later, The Source Magazine premiered L2B's debut album "The Artist LP" in 2017. The album contained the singles "Underrated" and "Beast," as well as other notable cuts like "Diving In" - "Midnight in Hollywood," and "All Set." The story-driven songs landed L2B on platforms such as HipHopDX, 2DopeBoyz, Thisis50, and more.

Currently in 2023, L2B is in the process of putting together his fifth project, which was primarily written while living in Hollywood, California, but is being recorded and created in Harlem, New York.

Kaz James is a world renowned DJ, producer, Label boss. Who is known for his own unique and distinct musical sound.

Hailing from the vibrant streets of Melbourne, he soaked up influences from his stepfather's eclectic vinyl collection. But Kaz didn't just listen; he mastered the art of the turntables, making his way through Australia's underground circuit. It wasn't long before his raw talent caught the
attention of the legendary Frankie Knuckles, who handpicked Kaz to open for his sets in Ibiza and across Europe.

Since then, his rise to international stardom has been exponential – From his time at the much-loved Sunday’s at Scorpios Mykonos to his now current “Wednesday” residency at the legendary Alemagou.

But Kaz's talents don't stop at the turntables. As a producer, he's crafted an impressive arsenal of hits, including chart-toppers like "Not In Love," "Stronger," "Paradise," and last year’s summer anthem, "Footprints." Which had continued international support from the likes of Black Coffee, Keinemusik and many more.

Now firmly established in the electronic music scene, Kaz has exciting plans for 2024,including new releases on labels like Rufus Du Sol's "Rose Avenue" and Germany's "Kompakt". Plus his very own recent label imprint, 'Krushes', in partnership with Warner Music Group, with upcoming releases and events featuring many amazing artists from around the
world.

kosha (Sanskrit कोश, IAST: kośa), usually rendered "sheath", the covering of the Atman, or Self. 

kośa is a soundsmith who brings you a flavour mixing - downtempo, acid house, minimal//deep-tech ranging from 80 to 120 bpm, electronic yet organic tunes, deep hypnotic meditative grooves and solid kicks infused with Indian, Arabic and other Ethnic influences which we beautifully term 'spiritual deeptech' a genre coined by kośa, rooted in the deepest part of India's underground scene.

ॐ//om -The great primordial sound, the original sound from which the universe was created, the sound of all sounds together. According to Hindu metaphysics everything is made of sounds (vibrations), since everything is sound, healing through it, is an ancient ritual, as sound is not only heard through our ears but vibrates within every cell of our bodies.

For us at kosa records this network gives space to connect ideas of various forms to do art for art's sake - not for social recognition. to break the rules of systematic exploitation of the artist's energy and to feel the soul in synchonicity.

We consumed too much music and it started to leak and this is when kośa evolved into a record label in January 2019 with the release of their first various artists compilation Mīmāṃsā, though the real beginnings were with our Podcast series the raga saga https://soundcloud.com/kosamusica/sets/the-raga-saga where in we showcase an hour of beautiful music from our favorite artists from around the world.

50% of all proceeds are donated to Pawbro India Foundation that aims at feeding stray dogs and other animals in Pune, India, feeding over 150 strays everyday. Part of the artists’ stream shares are directed towards these efforts.
