His influences in Hip-Hop are Big-L, G-Unit, D-Block, Papoose, Ransom, Dmx, David Usher, Necro, DMX, Red Cafe, Jedi Mind Tricks, Method Man, Wu-Tang, Lost Boyz, Classified, Kardinal Official, Necro, Jellestone & many more artists that speak truth and have true substance! No mumble rap garbage! His music has a vintage yet Futuristic sound & is usually hinting at realistic topics/events that are happening in the present with an old school esoteric subliminal twist. Neekz speaks from real life experiences & the pain he has endured over the last 8 years, from getting in trouble with the law, going to jail, Drug abuse, hustling in the streets of London, Ontario, getting into many brawls, getting home invaded & mainly being cast out from society for as long as he had been. This had really broken Neekz's heart, mind, body, soul & spirit & took quite a toll on the young smart talented Canadian Spitter. In 2015 he finally woke up from his terrible nightmare of crime, drugs & disloyalty to himself & society & finally got better & rose up from almost being completely gone for 8 years to finally pursuing​ and doing what he loved most, making bangers! After his trials & tribulations Neekz recorded all his old writtens he had written from when he was a youth & created The Starz Vol.1 mixtape & started working non-stop creating new heart felt inspiring music for the world & hasn't stopped working since! Neekz has collaborated with many rappers since 2015, such as Casper The Ghost, ItzNLz, Shogun, J-White, Redrum Tha Don, El Bandito, Trell Craft, Trillnit Productionz, Paradoxz, The Kronik 969, Gunna, Tee Jay, Xae-Lox & much more! Since joining Adrian Boeckeler's (Anno Domini Nation's) secret Hip-Hop networking group "The Inner Circle" he has met tons of independent aspiring artists just like him from different parts of the world that want exactly what he had always longed for Since he was 13 years old, to make it big in the music game & dominate the Hip-Hop scene! With producers like adrian boeckeler & his well experienced team & some new worldwide talent Neekz feels he is finally at last truly needed & has a very important role in the Rap game and could very soon be labeled as one of Canada's Top Artists/Role Models for his fans, the Hip-Hop Community & possibly the whole World! Neekz has opened up for artists like Classified & Maestro Fresh West as well as many other well known Hip-Hop artists. He plans to dominate the hip-hop seen this year after the release of his new mixtape/album entitled The Starz Vol.2. He has also recently won the bragging rights for getting 5 tracks in total on 2 of the Anno Domini Nation's Mixtapes entitled The Inner Circle Mixtape Vol.6 & The Inner Circle Mixtape Vol.7! Lil Neekz is superhuman on the mic, with his witty punchlines & rare Canadian Word play & delivery, Neekz is definitely well on his way, especially since he always feels he has to go that extra distance to prove his loyalty to the rap game and to all his fans & to the ones who betrayed him along the way!
