Jam Thieves - Holy Plant [Premiere]

Have you ever been in the southern andalusian rave scene? If not, we strongly recommend you to visit one of those where first we met the Sevillan duo State of Disorder & Skorp. The vibes are such a belter full of funky drums and deep basslines which is the main theme of our next release.

Influenced from the bristol sound, “Dissociate” is the first track of the release where we get inside a wonky vibe with atmospheres brought from the most underground places of Seville. The 2 step drum pattern caught us into the loop while glitchy sounds get in and out on top of a big subby bassline.

On the other side we have “You Already Know” as a perfect dj tool, fat drums slap the speaker while the vocal chops delivers the flavour of this stepper that shows up the intentions of these producers that you should put an eye on.

This is their first release on the label, but we are more than sure that more bangers are coming in the near future!

Birmingham’s very own Disrupta makes his debut appearance on Zinc’s Bingo Bass with the double A side release of ‘UFO’ and ‘Bongo Lover’. With previous releases on Born On Road and Co-Lab Recordings plus a popular bootleg of a well known Redlight tune, it’s no doubt his time to shine.
 
‘UFO’ is all about dreamy synth pads, melodic intros and big soundscapes until aliens decide to crash the party, bringing with them a ton of B movie vibes, vocal stabs and Disrupta trademark rumbles. The flip, ‘Bongo Lover’ chucks a load of production flair all over the place with chopped up breaks and vox which really set the tone for this funky roller. Add to the mix a few 90’s rave pads and pitch bent bass and you’re onto a winner here.
